- In this video I will talk about the recent findings relating to the Trevor Jacob scandal. Trevor Daniel Jacob, 29, of Lompoc, agreed to plead guilty to one count of destruction and concealment with the intent to obstruct a federal investigation, a crime that carries a statutory maximum sentence of 20 years in federal prison. The results of this case will determine if we get copycats in the future.
I still find him freefalling for 20 seconds, then the empty plane catching up to him before he lands as very suss. Its still possible that there is more to this story.
I think the same, however if you pull the chute high enough the plane should catch up. Thanks for watching. Don't forget your fire extinguisher pants!
@@TritonTv69420 20 seconds is over 3000ft vertical seperation, probrably more as the parachute then takes a few hundred feet to open itself fully. Then we have the altitude of the mountains. Trevor landed at the top of one. In the time between Trevors parachute fully opening and him landing atop the mountain this very light plane not only caught up but conviently flew past his location close enough to capture on a gopro.
Im no pilot but we can see the plane is not in a nose dive at the flyby, almost looks piloted. Trevor must have had a very large parachute or have been thermalling, and the plane must have nossdived very hard to catch him up then by itself level off more for the flyby.
Or...there is more to what actually happened that day
I agree there is a possibility of two takes or another person in the plane that jumped out and they cut the footage showing that. Who knows at this point.
@@TritonTv69420 the entire video uncut from the handheld gopro would clear up most of my doubts and disprove the alternate theories. But i guess we will never see that.
So it will remain suspect forever.
@@TritonTv69420 from the first time i watched his video i thought the wreckage looked laid out.
Like the wings placed next to the fuselage. Ive actually helped dismantle a 182 for scap. The wings are pretty well put on, not likely to be seperate without huge damage to the wing first. Im guessing its the same for a taylorcraft

Did you ever watch the news story that was done on him? I canât remember who did it. It explains a little bit of why heâs an idiot. It didnât give me much sympathy for him though.
I am going to be the odd one though and say that I donât think he should do actual prison for this. I personally believe that only the worst of the worst should go to prison. I think that most people donât realize how bad of a punishment it really is. Then when they come out the only way to make a living is to do more crime. On top of being even more mentally messed up for going though the whole thing. There are other ways to reform people. Im pretty sure that Trevor has some serious mental issues. Thereâs no other explanation as to why he would have done any of this. Like you said, thereâs other ways to make videos that donât involve obstruction of justice and all the other laws/regulations he violated.
yea I watched a documentary about prison in Scandinavian countries very different. I do agree it just messes you up and makes your life worse.
