I’ve never thought I’d really make such a long video, but I also believed that, if I made a long-ass video, it would have been about FitzSimmons. I had an idea at the back of my mind, and I still have it, but I think I’ll save it for the wedding, because we will have a wedding, conventional or not, we will have it. Anyway, there’s already an amazing video about their development, but then I realised that there’s no Reasons To Ship video and I thought this fandom and this couple deserved this. I’ve never been so invested in a fictional relationship, and by now I think you all know how much and how deeply I love these two, together and as single characters. That’s why I’m so nervous about uploading this video. I believe it’s totally impossible to catch their essence even in a 35-minutes-long video. They’re just too much, they love each other on so many different levels, they have so many little things and moments and quotes, it’s just impossible to include them all and my heart struggled not to extend this video to 200, but honestly, my laptop and my subs would have killed me. That’s pretty much a list of all the reasons I love them and why I believe they’re one of the best couples on TV in the last decades. They’re genuine, natural, they respect each other and never, never hurt the other willingly. They’re best friends before anything else and that’s just incredibly beautiful and pure. They’re almost married - pls, they’ve been married since the pilot - but they still figure stuff out like they used to do back in S01 and they still bicker and complete each other sentences as if nothing actually changed. And okay stop me now, because I could go on for days ranting about them.
I also LOVE the way the cast talks about them, especially what Elizabeth says, which is why I included some of her quotes here and there. They give so much insight into the characters and their relationship.
I hope I didn’t left out anything really important, but I also know that each one of us ships them because of different reasons, so I apologize if your reasons aren’t there. Also, there’re some mistakes in the text - caused by distraction, I swear I know how to spell words lol - but I was truly too tired to fix them and I really didn’t want to stress out my laptop lol. There might be, no there will certainly be mistakes in grammar and stuff, but english is not my native language, so I’m sorry.
Finally, I’d like to thank you all, because this fandom is a blessing. It’s not too big, not too small, it’s just perfect - of course there’re annyoing people, but every fandom has them. Sometimes I get comments like ‘I wait for your FitzSimmons video every week’ and you guys have no idea how much these comments mean to me.

I can't believe I first watched this over a month ago. It's sat in my watch later list and I have played it every few days. I can't get enough of it.
I finished and i think this is the longest edit i have watched since like 10 months. Every second of it was worth it. The parallels were fantastic, the voiceovers heartbreaking, the scenechoice flawless. Your editing could make me ship any ship but combined with this amazing OTP... I think i will just go bury myself and cry for a week.

It's been four years since then, two years since the season finale and this video still makes me fall apart and crumble to pieces over the insane amount of feelings that seep from this. It didn't took too much, really, just five days of intense work. The hardest thing was picking the reasons, because there're so many and I wanted to portray a fair bunch of different reasons why we all ship them, but then again, everyone ships them because of personal, different and subjective reasons xD I'm just really glad you liked it, and the feeling is mutual, bc I love all your videos
