I wish there was a choice mode under breath that either made it a 1 min that had front loaded damage that was better to burst m+ packs and a 2 min version that encouraged as long a breath as possible

The Lock here: i placed the gateway for the DH to pull some aggro faster , then i realized that they went there it was hilarious a f. Luckily we did not lose much time
Hey Biceps! I've been watching your videos for a while now, just cause I am a big fan of the DK class fantasy, but I've never played it. I'm a SPriest/Aff Warlock main and I have both above 2.8k IO right now and just feel burned out. I levelled a DK last week, played unholy and frost pre-70, but haven't really TRIED either out. I'm so torn on what to play and try out first. This will be my first ever melee character and I want it to be a primary alt and if I like it enough, I may main it in the future! I primarily do M+ but do raid 2 days a week with an AOTC guild, we are 2/9 mythic. Any recommendations on Frost vs. Unholy for me? The idea of unholy seems cool to me, but the visuals and effects of frost seem better. So torn on it, any advice on which to try would be awesome if one is just simply better than the other right now.
Currently they are really close so its all about your personal preference

I have only one pair of stripes on the sides of my character no matter how many stacks i have.

I am struggling to get my dps up at a frost dk with 2h oblit. Truly don't understand what I am doing wrong, ilevel around 455 now and I can hit an initial peak above 100k but drop between 55-75k for fight.
Hard to say what's going wrong, would have to look at a log

I really want frost to be remade. I play for theme mainly, so I will continue to play 2h frost as long as it's possible, but spamming 4 abilities just doesn't feel fulfilling. The dps in raid is pretty good, I hit 200k on volcoross at 470 ilvl, but when I play my ret pally it just feels better. BOS is just flat out annoying to play so that's worse imo.
I find breath to be a super enjoyable and unique playstyle and i love to play it on bosses like volcoross, but breath does struggle really hard if theres anything that forces it to lose uptime, certain bosses are just simply not built for breath and a lot of the time ur just praying that u wont get a mechanic that forces u to lose a lot of uptime. With all of this considered i think they should just add a choice node that allows you to choose between short but powerful breaths on maybe a 1 min cd or even less and the current breath, this way u dont get punished super hard for just doing mechanics, this will also allow for breath to be a more competitive choice in M+

Im gonna try and do Frost for M+ now. Tbh idk why my Unholy is INSANELY weak. Im just lost at this point. I tried disease and wounds and I only do half the damage, if not, a QUARTER. I get unholy is not that great for M+ but man being next to healer at dps is embarrassing lol
Unholy has higher keys done than the top frost players my man.
UH is good as the keys get higher, if you play 22 with DH your dmg will look bad, in 26-28 the dmg is pretty good. Problem is ST is probably the lowest in the game and also u have no utility, but overall damage is quite good for UH

@@thesheriff720 Thats whay im sayin! lol I literally follow Biceps Talent tree list and his rotations and still nothing.... My items are not that great, i understand that. But when my dps is as low as a healer, Im just lost. I used to do good dps but recently its like my dps took a MASSIVE hit.
@@Dilllll26 Well im still quite new so im only in the lower keys. I see some UH players that do pretty well even with beginning M+ gear. I followed sooo many guides with Talents and rotations but to no avail. Disease just takes soo much time to set up and by the time im done with my starting, the enemies either have died or have been kited somehwere else by tank lol. It just seems like I have to pop unholy ass to do any sort of dps and that is still 1.5mins cd. 😭
thing is, you are one of best ranking dk players in the game, this is just a random DH and lock in +22, if things were balanced you would be far ahead of them, frost lacks uncapped aoe and UH lacks ST for tyra so its either or really.
DK is sad atm :( gotta pay a token just to do ok ST dps, near enough BIS UH sims 30-50k lower than the meta specs in m+ build, how is that fair? and then DH even matches you in mass aoe your only "niche"
This is true sadly. I did the same key but a 21. I did 308k felt like I pumped. Dh did 349k.
@@dustinmckee5810 no matter how good you pump you can’t beat a DH, on a big pull with army and mirror you might match him then he destroys the next pack 2-5 targets and then the bosses let’s not even compare… UH is embarrassing in ST in keys
I got my fyralath on my ret pally so my dk got put on the back burner but i will try frost dk in a key one day holybatz-sargeras
