-He was sold for pieces of silver (Gen 37.28...Mt 26.15)
-He was stripped of his robe (Gen 37.23...Mt 27.28)
-He was delivered up to the Gentiles (Gen 37.28 & 36...Jn 19.16)
-He was falsely accused (Gen 39.14-20...Lk 23.14-24)
-He was faithful amid temptation (Gen 39.7-10...Heb 4.15)
-He was thrown into prison (Gen 39.20...Mk 15.1)
-He stood before rulers (Gen 41.14...Mk 15.1)
-His power was acknowledged by those in authority (Gen 41.12 & 38...Mt 8.8-9)
-He saves his rebellious brothers from death when they realize who he is (Gen 45.7...Zec 12.10)
-He is exalted after humiliation (Ac 7.10...Phil 2.7-11)
-He embraces God’s purpose even though it brings him intense physical harm (Gen 45.5...Mt 26.38)
-He is the instrument God uses at the hands of the Gentiles to bless his people (Gen 45.4-5...Mk 10.33-34)
-He welcomes Gentiles to be part of his family (Gen 41.45...Eph 2.11-15)
