I've seen her twice, once in Santa Fe a few years ago and once in Cincinnati just two days ago. best concerts I've ever been to. her voice chills me to the bone and her lyrics have a way of describing the feelings I can't. she's just amazing. thank you for existing and thank you for saving my life with your beautiful music, brandi and the twins.

My 20 something daughter always turns me on to gems like Brandi and the Twins. Saw them in center city Philly two Christmas's ago and was just blown away. Live…they are just amazing.

I think the "STORY" is one of the best songs I've ever heard. I relate to it - and I'm totally rapt by the guitar licks by all three musicians. I love watching the entire band smile and have so much fun. Great Job on the Folsom Prison tune. She gave Johnny a run for his money.

Re: Love her voice. Unfortunately Hallelujah, (the last song) while a beautiful melody, has nothing to do with anything of God, which one would think given the title and refrain.
maxtesatora This song has been sung by many, all different versions, and a great many different voices. All beautiful....The version Brandi sang was actually the one sung in the movie "Shrek". Just heard a song by her for the first time last time. I am now addicted. She has the voice of an angel!!!!!!!!

Good voice but if she gets any closer to the mike she'll be in FRONT of it. About 6 inches is right, Brandi. And buy another guitar so you don't have to tune during the show.
RT Castleberry Tuning during the show is a must when you're playing outdoors. Not only is she outdoors but she's close to water. Wreaks havoc on instruments regardless of strings or winds. :)

I've been singing on stage for more than 40 years and I can tell you, this guitar does'nt exist because....... it's made of wood. Maybe an Ovation, but we are talking of true guitars, aren't we ?
Sure you will see a lot of singers performing with an approximate pitch of their instrument, while others, (like Brandi Carlile) take particular pride in tuning whenever it's necessary and that does'nt disturb me.
