  • Crystal refurbished with Fluid Art! Want to know how I did it? Watch this video! I LOVE how they turned out. These were my mother's crystal pieces that I upgraded for my son and his wife for Christmas. My mother passes away over 17 years ago and now her grandchildren my grown children can now have something special from her and me. :) I am so happy with them!
I used the SheleeArt Bloom Technique and then dipped the base of the glass in the bloom. Then I added some sparkle and ended up adding resin and varnish to the bottom. Let me know what you think down below.
Here are the art pieces I made for my son and his wife that go with them. • Lucky 7 - Seven Bloom ...
I hope you are able to find ways to enjoy the process and learn to create even more fun and unique methods of pouring art…just for you!
    Bye!

Try using a straw wher you can cut it to any size you want , to blow out your paint, instead of blowing at it

Thanks! I do. This was the first year I created wine glasses and just really learning the bloom. Two years later I use lots of different techniques in blowing out the bloom. Thanks for the idea!!!

Does the flakes show up through the paint or only when upside down?

Can you explain what you mean “Flakes”?

Ahhhh. Got cha! I put those on after the paint is dry. And they only show up from the bottom. Great question! I forgot I had used those. I’ve stopped because now I just use paint skins for my wine glasses.

Comparing dipping and using skins on the bottoms, Which do you like better for the end result? Which do you think is easier?

For me… the end results I like best by far…is the skins. They are perfect without a “pulled up” look and I see perfect art in both sides of the glass. Too looking down while the glass is in the counter and as I sip others can see the beautiful bottom. For easy I would say they are both hard the dipping is faster but I have ruined so many bottoms and had to scrape and clean the glass bottoms of glasses because I didn’t like the look…sometimes it slides or smashes and if you have an indent it moves. The skins have a number of steps to get them to the finished results but I know what I’m going to get. So for me I love the skins and know it’s going to take me a bit longer to get the final results. Let me know if that doesn’t make sense and I can explain better. That might be a good video! 🤷‍♀️😜

@@RhondasTriRRRtistry Thanks for the reply! It makes total sense! I thought that would be the answer but I didn’t want to assume. 😂 you do beautiful work! I purchased a bunch of glasses, including regular drinking glasses to try. Thinking about trying the bottom of a fish bowl too!
