    I like how involved the coaches are taking the players from Dummies to head-up pad work.

    Man, I think a lot of opposing teams are going to be surprised by the size and the physicality of this new UM offensive line. I like it!

      Hitting Logan Sagapolu looks like it would about as painful as hitting a brick wall. Anez Cooper, at 6'6" 350 hits him with a pretty good running start and Sagapolu's mass took the hit as if it was nothing.

    Football is easy when an O line dominates the D line. Teaching/learning how to use leverage to get into, sustain, and finish your fit. How do you finish? The five ways are... cut‘em, shove‘em, knockdown, pancake, and lock up/control. Knockdown and pancake are the most fun. 🙌

    I noticed a lot of pulling drills. I can’t recall specifically did we pull our guys much last year? Anyone know?

      I didn't see much pulling ot trap blocking for that matter from Gattis' play calling. He seemed more focused on setting a up a pocket for the QB's taking deep, 7 step drops. O line injuries made it difficult if not impossible - His offense suffered for it because he was too stubborn to adapt. He could have done other things like rolling the pocket and bought a little more time but...

      @@RaisedCane-qn3ts yah. That’s what I recalled as I was thinking about it. I went to two games live and couldn’t remember seeing a pull once. Not that a pull = success. But it does allow unpredictability. Those kids can move for their size.

      @RaisedCane-qn3ts Před rokem +2

      @@tlobrill1 You hit the nail right on the head... Gattis' play-calling was so predictable that the offense was always running right into the teeth of the defense. That's why it looked so bad!
