Bro this station & place was my first visit to Kerela.
It was so impressive to see the clean station.
Next I experienced a lined up prepaid auto stand taking token money of ₹1 (then) & paying the amount later.
I then had been to bus station which had well laid out platforms.
On return I visited the bakery as mentioned by you & purchased fresh delicious halwa.
On return had to board a train for my hometown & it was delayed indefinately. On going to get my ticket cancelled had a horrible experience of the lady at the window who was discourteous in answering queries.
Else, it was a memorable visit.

What is the Check in and check out time for retiring rooms?

It varies from station to Station bro, but in general it is 8 am to 8pm for 12 hour stay and 8am to next day 8am for 24 hours stay, most of the stations retiring rooms you can book in irctc Tourism website with your ticket pnr number 👍🚉
