Hey Jamie. Nice finds for RSD leftovers. I was talking with Jerry (the owner of Heritage Music) and he was saying that there were a lot of titles that he ordered which didn't arrive for RSD. I'll be going into his store next week as he figures many late drops will show up by then. Who knows? I might have some luck scooping up The Yardbirds and Howlin' Wolf Live... fingers crossed! Enjoy the new tunes. Have a great weekend.
Hello Jamie; Some very good RSD leftover pick ups. The John Lennon EP, for Beatle fans. The Ramones Demos sounds interesting, early recordings. The Yardbirds, B-side tracks. Grapefruit's first produced by the Bryds Terry Melcher. Enjoy the spins! Tina & Pat!~
Mind Games was the first John Lennon album that I didn’t like. Not interested in a EP of the album. The Ramones Sire demos is one I’ll pick up once the after market price drops. I don’t think Five Live Yardbirds is a very good album. I’m curious about the b-sides release.
"Five Live Yardbirds" starts off with a bang, with "Too Much Monkey Business", but overall, it could be better. I like the Yardbirds' BBC sessions with Jeff Beck more. I'm much more interested in John's "Walls And Bridges" box set. Now that will be great. Hopefully, that's next.
Thanks for your review!

I agree. I think John's 'Mind Games" is a little on the weak side. I'm still interested enough to get the 2 CD deluxe set, but not the full box set.
