A few tips from me beside this amazing settings! When u choose your desire settings quit game, delete cache folder in documents set game for admin user and turn off steam overlay. U will have much more smooth gameplay, tested it myself! Cheers!
does it fix the stuttering when entering a new area and during cutscenes?
@@limitless1181 no this is for overall better gameplay. Only they can fix traversal stuttering trust me i try everything, no matter how powerful machine u have.
I have it for the EA App but I excluded it from virus scan, but I will also add it as admin and I'll delete the cache folder and try some of these settings

Last time I saw an optimization guide this detailed was on the Hardware unboxed channel, I used their guide for AC origins and AC Odyssey and worked like a charm but here I see you do it for nearly all games you can, so thats 1 sub more for you, really usefull

Man, now every game I install on my PC I run here to see if you made an optimization video about the game, thank you very much for your excellent work. I hope they remove this stupid Denuvo that causes these stutters and low fps exactly like The calisto protocol. After removing the Denuvo junk, the game saw a 25% improvement in performance.
I heard that they changed the performance impact of volumetrics in a recent patch, does it impact performance less now?

My sollution for the blurry textures with DLSS: I use 1.78x DLDSR (activated in the NVIDIA Control Panel and then set the higher resolution ingame) and then use DLSS Performance. Still looks way sharper than only using DLSS Quality without DLDSR. I am on a 4k Monitor and this was the only way to get rid of the blurryness, because using TAA my 4090 gets rather warm and is using up to 430 Watts and still is not always able to maintain a stable 120 FPS.

What I like bout this video was he show’s performance gain and loss and how it effected gameplay sir you earned a sub from me cause I’ve been trying to optimize this game for a month now.. you should do one hogwarts legacy
The good thing about this game I found even if you're forced to play at 30fps it's still a good experience I've played it on two different OVs one that was at 4K60FPS and one at 1080p30fps and they both felt perfectly fine to play the 30fps only took me around 5mins of walking around and then I forgot it was 30fps I think it's because it's a more slow paced gane to were you don't really move around to fast or jerk your camera around O and both I've tried playing on ganepad and K&M both of them felt really good the only thing I don't like is the stuttering but I got a whole lot less stuttering at 30fps and this is on both rigs 30fps had such little stuttering that it became almost unnoticeable to the 60fps were it got me killed a good couple time's.

My issue does not come from playing the game but from trying to record it. No matter which encoder I use for obs it always freezes. No other game games has ever done this until Dead Space and I would like to know why this specific game.

I use 60 FPS and DLSS on with a RTX 4090 because I draw only up to 150 watts with the GPU instead 250 and more with native 4k...
2:45 DLSS and FSR don't have sharpening slider, thats why they are blurry. Embeded option does not sharpen enough. FSR2 + max. sharpening slider always sharper than native TAA, which blurries the edges.
you can use NIS from nvidia or sharpen+ from geforce experience.
amd 5600x + 6650 xt here for 1440p... had to use FSR 2 performance. TAA killed frame rates

Yeah, FSR in this game goes much better than dlss. I also noticed that.
This game has 2 serious issue I don't see anybody mention. 1, gysnc is broken, open you actual monitor refresh rate counter and compare that to your in game fps counter. For me the monitor refresh rate was nowhere close to what the game was running (it was mostly higher) . 2 HDR doesn't actually work unless you do a tricky procedure every time you launch the game. I played with both of these issues for hours until I couldn't take it anymore, that god I decided to fix them. If you get the gsync framerate fixed you wont notice the traversal stutters trust me
How is your cpu in the low temp area? Mine automatically shoots up to 90 no matter what I do.
You need to check your cpu cooler. If it is not mounted right, that's a big issue. I'd want to solve.
@@JahonCross I'm not sure that's it because this is literally the only game that even comes remotely close to high Temps. All my other games always hover around 74.
I’ve got a R7 3700x and a 5700xt the problem I’m having is no matter what settings I use ultra or low I get 60fps locked. I wish there was an unlocked frame rate option

I just downloaded latest game version which is now free in ea play and I can only choose between TAA and FSR on rtx3070. WTF ea? Did they remove dlss?
I'm using DLSS on an RTX 2070 mobile n also using the EA play version. Not sure why it wouldn't work for you.

I haven't noticed any stuttering or other technical issues at all. This game runs flawlessly for me.
So having the AA as TAA would have my game at 30fps no matter how low i dropped everything :/ I didn't understand, but when i changed to AMD super resolution it went up to 70 fps. I'm not sure what the issue is, but it seems TAA isn't good for me.
As I said in the video if you can use TAA and you already have good performance using it go for it since both FSR and DLSS lower textures quality which makes the game looks a little bit worse.
@@benchmarking4386 I don't know why TAA is bad for me though, i have a 1660 ti and i lowered everything to medium, i get a steady 30 fps which in my head doesn't make sense. Also my CPU is a AMD Ryzen 7 5700X 8 Core. When you change to AMD FSR, does that offload graphics to the CPU?
@@BelowZer09107 No , the game has a big problem when it comes to streaming and loading/unloading data from the Vram , using native TAA put a lot of strain on the Vram unlike playing with FSR (with lower internal resolution) , so this might be the reason why you're seeing big drop in performance with TAA compare to FSR.

You know this is really annoying with PC ports where they ship the game in a way where the grout all the graphics settings don't really work very well and there are updates for these graphics settings yet the developers don't update these graphics settings you got to do it manually I think this is really annoying I really like PC gaming but going in and messing with the files is actually kind of annoying

Yes , sometimes if you swithc to higher resolution with higher settings this happens because of the Vram limitation.
