Just look at the recent examples from BBC about Qatar. Almost every single news about Muslims and Islam is negative in western media

Awesome answers! Very impressive. JazakAllah Dr. Sabeel for opening doors for non Muslim Americans to learn about Islam with beauty and hikmah. It is mentioned in Surah Al Nahal to do Dawa with beauty and hikmah (Wisdom).
Islam has been copied from the Jewish, Christian and old Arab religions. It is a religion of conquest and conversion. In the past it discriminated against non muslims by imposing the Jazia tax on them treating them as second rate citizens. It was alright for the wild tribes of the Arabian desert but is not suitable for modern civilized society. It des not give equal treatment to women.
It is better if Muslims convert to the Sikh religion. It is a religion which gives equality to women and people of sll religions. It does not believe in serving all human beings.

I like how you explain brother. For me this is the most suitable how to dawah, not through debate, not through doctrines, but through discussion. Debates and doctrines might be important too, but i like this way better.

That's true.. the bad portrayal of Islam in media is actually a blessing in disguise, cuz it makes people curious and once they read the Qur'an, that's where their faith started to come.
That's why I always say, read the Bible, Qur'an and Torah, I'm pretty sure people who are non-Muslims and open enough to read the Qur'an carefully are more likely to convert to Islam.
