Deleting A/C and Restoring the Firewall on the Squarebody

Getting ready for the fresh engine build by getting things cleaned up under the hood. Took everything off, installed a classic industries A/C delete, and painted the firewall.

Whats your plans for the engine rebuild. Cam swap? Heads swap? Before I did my LS swap my 82 had a 355 with 416 305Heads. 58 cc chambers. I swapped them with some 062 Vortec heads and was alot happier with it. The 416s ran outta breath around 4k rpm.
Looking back for what i spent on the 5.3 swap i coulda built a 400sbc and kept the old-school look.

Right on! Stock heads for now and a comp xe 268 cam plus new intake
