Major is so close to being a top Ganon, it's just those missing adaptations, like persistent neutral air dodges over a character with superior anti-airs, that are holding him back
He’ll never be a top player, he’s in the peanut situation where you can acknowledge he’s the best at his character by far, but that can only take him so far. A lot of his deaths he simply had no way to outplay it

I just fought Ouch last night with my Ganon. Man really kicked my ass out of 3 games I barely won once out of pure luck.
I’ve fought Ouch a few times in bracket, I actually do better against his Wolf than his Chrom which is very weird as a ZSS main.

When I watch Major, I seriously think that if Felinferno can actually do it, there's no fundamental reason ganon could not.
Every time I watch Major he never fails to impress me> Everything from neutral, advantage, disadvantage, and especially recovery is just so inspiring, almost makes me wanna pick ganon up again. Also, nice hair cut

Grand daddy of all ganon mains here. Don't know how I have not subscribed yet. Rare do you see someone step up to the plate of maining this oddball character i'm too familiar with.
It is very plain to see you have put in a lot of work on this character and up to the tournament level. Going further with Ganon kind of goes like this.
People make big mistakes underestimating character speed. Not only does it rip apart heavies like Ganon, it is possibly the single most important stat there is when choosing a character in smash titles. With this in mind you can only improve your fundamentals.
Ganon needs to be able to parry hits. If you mained ganon like I did in melee then we both know shield reflecting falco lazers is the only way to compete, and getting a 5/10 reflect ratio is a start. Parrying is basically the same thing. Playing Ganon is a patient game with spikes of retaliation and in those rare moments when you have offensive advantage you have to not miss simple things like striking an opponent too soon when their animation cannot be hit or using routs that involve comittal big hits when it is dangerous to do so.
That said.
I'm going to enjoy watching you compete. Excited to see a ganon main doing great things.

Imo you play too optimal with ganon. Hes never gonna be a good character. So you should just do things like wizard foot, flame choke. The optimal shit is just gonna get flushed by his inevitable unoptimal frame data after you throw out your first couple of safe moves. Go for blood.
It's weird, he gave him so much uneeded respect, and then didn't give him respect in the couple of situations where ganon absolutely needs it (ouch, I mean). Like, why are you trying to edgeguard ganon when he's got his recovery on lock? Why aren't you juggling or ledgetrapping the superheavy when both are far better options? Why are you jump at an aerial ganon that's clearly setting up for fair, if you aren't trying to anti-air? Why are you approaching when you have laser? As a wolf main, him nearly losing to this is so weird.
Not that weird. Charlie nearly lost to Rickles before as well.

Honestly anyone who says with a straight face that Ganondorf is the worst character in the game needs to delete their CZcams Channel and throw their Switch away and go do something else.
Like realistically who would you put lower. It’s hard. Ganon might have powerful moves but that is ALL he has. The flame choke leads into a tech chase but ganon is too slow to react he can only try to read off of it. His mobility is terrible. He cant recover for shit. If someone decides to camp you out you have no safe approach

Ouch looks decent when playing non top players, but when he plays top players h he looks like a button masher. for example he was def a waste of a spot in Summit, soooo many smash attacks got him fucked
Ok now watch his set against Leo at BoBC5 or his sets against japanese players at BoBC4 and say that again with a straight face
He's gotten 9th at several super majors and regardless of what you say is still the best Wolf in the world. Bringing up Summit specifically is weird, you're probably just mad he got in over your pick.
@@Shiv_BCMan i wish charliedaking still played and I believe Jakal is better than Ouch, Ouch competes more, but Jakal nuetral is way cleaner. We got ouch fanboys here

Also, I'm fairly certain Jakal goes to more mid-sized and large events than Ouch does
