  • Colin Strickland was on the stand for a second day Monday in the murder trial of Kaitlin Armstrong, Strickland’s ex-girlfriend, who is accused of shooting to death Mo Wilson. Armstrong allegedly had been jealous of Wilson's relationship with Strickland. Florida state prosecutor and criminal defense attorney Mark Geragos join “CUOMO” to discuss how Strickland’s testimony could impact the trial.

    That jerk put Mo in that position......he is a jerk. He needs to keep his hands to himself and not touch news guys and their cameras.

      After doing that to the first camera guy, he went outside and got upset at another cameraman that didn’t get out of his way so he stomped on that guys foot.

    He knew very well that she had a problem with jealousy, BUT he contributed to her jealousy and to the murder as he lied to her and cheated on her.

    The guy is irrelevant in deciding if the ex-girlfriend is guilty or not since he didn’t kill or tell her to murder Mo.

    I don’t think the dude has any responsibility for his bat shit crazy gf killing someone.
    Let’s not make that a normal thing, this is Kaitlin’s responsibility and being cheated on never gives any right to go kill. Go find somebody else!

    • @elizabethhagen268
      @elizabethhagen268 Před 6 měsíci +2

      And he did not even cheat. He went to get lunch with the girl and they went to the pool. They did not even have sex. There is no evidence they had a sexual relationship at that point. They were friends. She was extremely jealous of that girl though.

      @@elizabethhagen268 well he said they had sex but I agree it still doesn’t matter it’s no reason to kill! Sounds like they were in a lousy on/off relationship. It’s so sad how he seems to be on her side and saying “I didn’t really know her” like smh

    He's a person flawed like the rest of us. Mo is dead, his life is ruined and Kaitlan made a cosmic mistake. He will have guilt for the rest of his life just for knowing Mo. Whoever is without sin cast the first stone.

    Cheaters make their partners "go crazy" and then wipe their hands clean... CS should not have continued on with Mo after being in a sexual relationship with her and then going back to KA. IMO he caused this murder. Yes, KA is guilty of the actual murder but I sense from CS behavior today there was more going on in their relationship that the jury will never know. Mo should have also respected he was back with KA. Her texts show she was very persistant IMO.

    I just read an article in New Yorker that is pretty clear what a player this guy is. The wk of the murder Colin was being interviewed related to cycling and suggested he didn't have a girlfriend, with Kaitlin right there. Imo, this man used Kaitlin and led her on (as he did Mo Wilson) and drove her crazy enough to kill. His testimony on the stand changed from his interrogation at the police station contradicting himself saying how sweet Kaitlin was then saying the opposite. His friends according to the article knew K & C had a volatile relationship, knew Colin saw other women and knew Mo was just another fling. It also stated Mo hoped to get sponsors with Colin's help. Very sad story.

    It might’ve been jealousy and envy drove her to commit murder, the attack was said to be brutal and is clearly unacceptable. Mo, should still be alive, her family should still have her, at their holiday family gatherings. One thing IF she (*KA) had tried to make contact with her(Mo) to find out if she was dating her bf but beyond that, she should have moved forward in her own life. An unfortunate mess, hopefully individuals learn what they need to in regards to infidelity, promiscuity, scandal and jealousy, so things such as murder revenge do not happen. Dealing with feelings and experiences, appropriately, is important.

    I looked up a few of Colin's old interviews on CZcams and it's clear that he is---or was---a sweetheart. As a woman I found him modest, funny, playful and lovable. I notice no one seems to want to take the time to look up his life before the events surrounding this tragedy. Let's remember that, contrary to Kaitlin's lawyers' pathetic attempts to cast aspersions on Colin in order to distract the public, Colin is a victim too, as Mo's good friend Cash clearly stated in her victim impact statement. He lost a valued friend, his girlfriend, his career & status and all his sponsors, which was a major financial blow. And all of it virtually overnight . His life will never be the same. How much suffering is enough to satisfy us? Be enough to finally stop implicating him? I thought we're not supposed to blame the victim? Or is that reserved just for people we like? I'd be angry, frustrated and resentful too if I were him. I pray he has a lot of love and support as he tries to build back his life after having it get robbed by a murderous psychopath who couldn't stand his fondness of a lovely girl who shared his love of the sport.

    Colin simply wanted to string Mo along...First it boosted his ego, being fought over as "apple in my eyes" by two (actually the more the merrier, wasn't that at least 4 on his phone rolodex?) females. Second, this is much more significant, it boosted his public image, as Mo was an up coming star athlete, which translated to more sponsorships etc for Colin. Just think of how much PR value he could (was) milking off his association with Mo. Surprised that no one touched on this.
    Granted she was an upcoming star, he already established, so it's easy to see who's wielding power in the relationship. Remember the confused text Mo sent him at one point, not knowing "where things stand"? Go over that text (and Colin non-answer answer) to see the guy m.o. (not "Mo"): to any of his female partners there's always an on-off sideshow somewhere in the background. To put it simply, Colin loves hubris, and didn't mind adding a couple of real guns into the mix. (If nothing else watch his behavior in/out of the courthouse. ) He and the defendant started out as a toxic couple, with the addition of fire arms they become a lethal duo. Thus don't expect any thing from him as a witness on the stand.

      I think he is too. This isn’t his responsibility. She was murdered and it’s the. MURDERERS fault. And only her fault. Cheating on someone gives them no right to go kill..
