Shawn and Angela were my favourite teen TV couple growing up, and a great depiction of an interracial couple. While I'm sad that they didn't end up together, I liked that they seemed to be on civil terms by the time of the spinoff.
Ugh i HATE how badly the spinoff treated their relationship. I get that not all couples last but the new show went out of its way to make it seem like she meant nothing to him and I’ll always be bitter about it
@@jwindsor6274 yeah the spinoff did them bad, but I like where they're at now, Shawn with Katy, and Angela with her husband. I think if they divorced they're partners or they're widows/widowers in future, they'd hook up again. It's like Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky. If Peter died, Lara Jean would definitely end up with John Ambrose McLaren.

The fact the actress of Topanga bullied her co-star who played Angela screams insecurity! She probably didn't like that another female was getting some attention now and it wasn't fully focused on her as much because Angela was now a love interest for the main man's best friend.

it was will friedle's own choice to dumb down the character, he was happy doing it , it gave him more freedom also he carried the show in later seasons even tho all the characters are good. @@sassyhassy
