Fun fact: this escape puts an end to the second longest consecutive losing streak, Alex's last success in fact dating back to StH 55. The longest consecutive losing streak remains from StH 1 to 10.

@@adammcallister2260 52 was a taskmaster. Alex needs to complete all 12 tasks within 24 hours of game time to win. The hunters must kill him within 24 hours to win. Neither happened, so it was "technically" a draw (as Alex put it).
ETA: Also, Alex accidentally became "The Beast" which created a bunch of wacky things that made it hard to call "fair", so "technical difficulty tie".
Blakey's bicycle story arc was good.

I fear STH would generally last 3-5 minutes if they ever became that organised 😂

As Alex said, they thought the hunt were over at that point of time and thus maybe used some more profound language than they do during knowing to be recorded while STH is still on. And Alex maybe just didn't want to risk the video being taken down. Relatable, but he could upload it alone. Maybe anyone of the hunters uploads it.

Don't know if anyone has told you, but the Funny Truck is a transfer truck: used for moving trailers very short distances, usually around stock yards/warehouses/parking lots or among buildings. There are a couple factories not too far from my house that uses them fairly frequently.

You should add in a a rule every now and again that someone is a mole and they can sneakily help you/throw the others off.
There was at least one a while back where the hunters suspected one of their own and the suspect went suspiciously quiet to play along and throw them off. Good cheeky fun.

In the first episodes, the hunters even had helicopters or the ultralight air thing to keep up on at Alex. It worked so well and efficiently, that Alex barely could shake them through the buildings in the city and they decided to make the rule that the hunters only can use the blimp left, which can not be that fast and agile. So if they ever going to found out the most tough episode of STH, the "no helicopter" rule shall be off again for the hunters.
You do realize that's literally over 3 years away right?
ngl one of the things I'm interested in is seeing is STH once there's a new GTA. Also furiously hoping that Rockstar doesn't do something which makes STH impossible.

I've been thinking about how you could make a standalone game out of this. Maybe keep it constrained to walking around a city-block, and have players trying to blend in with crowds of NPC pedestrians, while also trying to determine who around them is actually a real player. Include some kind of punishment to discourage players from just lighting up random NPCs, and you'd have a wonderfully tense game of paranoia and spycraft.
Could have a few different gamemodes too, to mix up the inter-player dynamics. Like a free-for-all battle royale, where players would have to walk through designated areas on the map every few minutes, with the number of designated areas disappearing one by one as the game goes on. Or the same gamemode with teams, but the players wouldn't initially know who their teammates were, and would have to find out during play. Or a mode where one player tries to reach various points around the map, while everyone else tries to find and kill them (Survive The Hunt, basically). Or a mode where one team tries to escort an unarmed player to various points around the map, while the other team tries to assassinate the VIP by any means available.

Also there's a few options on steam right now for sniper vs. One or more players getting objectives done. I'm not sure if there's a genre tag.

Pretty sure that was Laddo. There's not a whole lot of distinctive voices among the hunters, but his is one of them. Plus, his brand of sarcasm and fourth-wall breaking is also very distinctive. 🤣🤣🤣

The discussion episode always presents laughs. I can't believe no-one thought it was Alex they had found until he killed Blakey! And I also enjoyed seeing the moment Ewann messed up, once again from that StH run.
But the best bit: 31:11 - the moment the hunters screwed up their chance to stop Alex escaping by helicopter and their annoyance at doing so. 🤣

The same thing goes for the famous "My pree exploded!", often not even mentioning the direction thereafter by the owner. Yes, you probably talk about it before whose pree is where but just say where it is, guys. You're losing important seconds.
Turning off auto aim is very strong move. Makes "lucky" shots a bit more challenging.

You should provide a score at the end of each Survive The Hunt to show how many times Alex has won and lost as well as a tally of Pri's destroyed over the series.
Some time ago (I don't know if it still exists) it used to have a forum with someone dedicated to the task of plotting the journey Alex made for each video, alongside a synopsis of the game.
Here's an idea for future STH: You all start on top of the Maze bank and have to parachute down. No personal vehicles to worry about, save for whoever controls the aircraft 😂

So it was more of a majority forgot it was an Escape STH than a mutiny, when chaos ensued towards the end. Crazy how Blakey didn't see your character acting unlike AI when he came across you on the beach. Another great STH, I can't wait for the next one.

I really liked hearing the hunter chatter, made it a bit more tense to hear them react to you. Hope you use it more in future STH eps.

I had a feeling they had forgotten it was still going, but I was hoping the reason for the chaos was more interesting then that.
Cracks me up about how everyone is talking at the same time, talking over each other, seemingly oblivious to what is going on, and then everyone shuts up at the same time for 5 seconds over nothing. Kinda gives me a headache when everyone talks at once, which is why I don't play with more than 3 or 4 people on voice chat for any game, or for podcasts/live streams.
Maybe add in a new rule where Alex can occasionally "hack" into the hunter's radio chatter and listen to what they're saying?
blowing up the blimp should be counted as if you blew up a purple car or 2, I think.

He's blown the blimp up several times, which is a giveaway enough as the blimp has flares and lock-on sensor

I honestly could do with more. The hunter audio was a good addition, but I kind of miss the old just Alex actually discussing videos. Hunter audio tends to be too much of a cacophony of voices for me most of the time.
New challenge idea: Use a different method of exploding each Pri. I.E. Sticky bomb one, douse one in gasoline and light it on fire, rocket launcher another, grenade yet another....

Hey Alex! I have an idea for a survive the hunt variant. Colors! At the beginning of the game, randomly choose a color. For the rest of the game, you will only be allowed to drive cars of that color. The Hunters won't know what color has been selected to start' so the beginning will be like a normal STH. However, once they spot you, the game gets much harder as they will now know what color car you will be driving.
Clearly in Honor of killing Blakey on his Bike again, you should do the Blakey Biking STH, Where you dress up as Blakey and ride around on a Bicycle for as long as you can last. For bonus fun let Blakey in on it ahead of time.

I think they spotted the blue/green oracle because usually when you head on an NPC car... the driver dies, keels over on the horn and it just sits there. .
The truck that creamed you just faffing about would have killed an NPC driver, so imagine thier surprise when this random car they hit drives off nonchalantly like nothing happened.
Also the broken window probably didn't help.

Drive pink prius into ocean. The more the better
In the smaller scale mode that I play with friends, I may have set a trap or two in my time using prox mines. In the last chase, you could have put one in that tiny gap into the storm drain and as they pass by, blows up three or 4 all in a row AND plug the gap preventing slower hunters from following. Not very sporting though.

It's allowed I think since it has happened in the past. I don't think it would've worked though since the blimp is surprisingly tanky.

In terms of twists to the rules, I'm thinking about spreading more paranoia around by adding 1-2 chased people who can't communicate with each other (but can find each other out and cooperate) + a wildcard hunter that will try to pretend to be a chased person (maybe to balance out the chances, also not able to communicate with other hunters, but able to prepare strategy before beginning of the hunt). Hunters can mistakenly kill the wildcard and it will be permadeath. What do you think?

How about a version where you have to destroy all the Pris(?) within the 24hrs of game time or the person in the blimp gets map access (maintaining the single life for the blimp).

New gameplay: Each player is incognito and you all have to take each other out. No map, chat, no personal vehicles or play names. Divide up the town and each person is "dropped" in and has to steal a car and blend in while looking for each other. Pistols only.
That would probably be really boring, and also Alex will probably see nothing lol

The new system with the pillars of light and the red one showing up where something's been destroyed Now is it possible to have the pink prize actually moving around in the area of the city that you guys can move in? If so that would be cool because then Alex would have to drive around If you don't know where they're going to be when he comes across them and he doesn't know where they're going to be when he comes across them he was roughly see where the priest are moving around and as soon as they blow up they will stop And turn red Which gives you an idea of where he was last. I think it would make it even more exciting more difficult for Alex to try and find the moving breeze. you have to consult Amy and her tech person to see if this is possible but I think it would be fun.
