Now to think of it… I was their „shipper” just like everybody else, but I’m not sure anymore. Käärijä seems to really like Bojan, but Bojan seems to kind of use him. He surely benefits much more from their friendship, since Käärijä doesn’t really need that type of promo. Lately I was talking to someone, who suggested that their hang outs during ESC, like the one above could have been staged by Joker Out’s management, to give the band more publicity. While this theory does seem a little bit streched, they surely gained a lot of popularity they wouldn’t get if they didn’t associate with Käärijä (I don’t believe they would get invited to play concerts in Finland). In Finnish media Bojan was referred to as Käärijä’s bestie on quite a few occasions. Käärijä is never referred to as Bojan’s friend, because he’s a popular artist on his own. But those are just PR questions. Another thing is how they actually interact. I know, I never met them in person and can’t be sure. But from my observations Käärijä seems to adore Bojan. He loves to talk about him, mentions him regularely, looks completely head over heels when he’s around. I don’t see this kind of affection on Bojan’s side, sorry. I’m not claiming that he doesn’t like Jere at all and cares only about the publicity he gets from associating with someone as popular as him. But the thing about Bojan is, he’s extremaly intelligent and also very business smart (as told by one of his mentors). I’m sure he knows media play much better than Käärijä, a very straightforward and sensitive man. But what do I know? I might be all wrong.
Oh yes, it's very clear that Käärijä adores Bojan. He is almost obsessed haha. But I don't think that Bojan is using him, because Käärijä is the one who keeps talking about Bojan and posting videos with him. If Bojan was using him it should be the other way around, right? For example, we would never know that Bojan stayed in Käärijä's flat if Käärijä didn't tell us. Bojan never mentioned it. However, I think Joker Out's manager was definitely trying to use Käärijä. He posted a lot of videos of Käärijä and Bojan, and many times they didn't know that he was filming them. He posted this video for example, and in the end of this clip Bojan says "enough media" and wants the manager to stop filming them. He seems a bit annoyed almost. (Joker Out doesn't work with this manager anymore). So yes I think that Käärijä was being used, but not by Bojan. And people show affection in different ways. Käärijä talks about Bojan very openly, but Bojan might prefer to keep things more private between them. Personally I think that Bojan looks happier than ever when they are hanging out together :)
I didn’t mean to sound harsh or accuse anyone. As I said, I don’t know the guys personally and can’t be 100% sure about their feelings. You have a point telling about how the way of showing affection may vary for different people. Käärijä appears very straightforward and may like to shower his loved ones with affection, while Bojan is possibly more reserved and private about this stuff (for example he doesn’t really talk about his girlfriends and gets anxious whenever asked about his love life). From my personal experience I can tell his behaviour seems kinda fake and akward sometimes, but that might not be the case with this particular person at all. It might have been my bad luck that I met nasty people, who kinda remind me of Bojan, sorry. Also, Käärijä acts a bit far fetched sometimes (like that time he posted that weird video claiming to be washing Bojan’s underwear - as much as I love Käärijä, I was creeped out by that). It’s not that I think Bojan is evil and has bad intentions. He’s generally very friendly, there are a lot of stories of his kindness going around. The way he comforted Käärijä After the ESC results was very sweet. But he’s also very smart and his career is importatnt to him. He knows how to use his undeniable charm and charisma, and also uses every Opportunity he gets. Joker Out would be much less popular among the general public without the association with Käärijä. They were able to have concerts in Nordic countries because they are recognizable there. They appeared in Finnish media (one of the Articles was titled something like „Käärijä’s best friend came to Finland”). They posted the video of Käärijä vibing to their newest song to promote it. But ok, nothing wrong with that. They got an opportunity to gain more starpower and used it wisely. Bojan didn’t do Käärijä any harm, they both agree to work it that way. So I’m sorry if you thought I was accusing Bojan. The thing with the manager - that’s fucked up, seriously. That type of promo is not ok, and could have been harmful to Bojan and Käärijä’s forming friendship. I’m glad they’re happy together and hope they stay friends for a long time.
@@joannaksyta1215 No I didn't feel like you were accusing him, don't worry! It was an interesting comment. There will always be some people who are trying to use you if you're famous of course, so it's not strange to be wondering about it. But yes we only see small bits from their lives and from all the conversations that they have. Käärijä seems really convinced that he is a good guy, and he knows him better than any of us do. People close to Käärijä (like his brother Mikke and Häärijä) seem to like Bojan too. But I hope that the guys in Joker Out are aware of how much Käärijä has helped them, because he really has.
@@Reffys I didn’t want to seem like a hater. I think that we should always remain critical thinkers, even when it comes to our favourite things.
@@joannaksyta1215Yeah, I can kinda relate because at one point I did think they were just using Käärijä for the fame. But they seem to be really good friends, if you seen most videos with Bojan and Kaarija or just Joker Out with him in general, they all get along really well :)
And for Käärijä washing Bojans underwear, that’s their humor and thought that it was funny
