Hard to believe it's coming up on 30 years since I first saw a Less Than Jake show. I've been to dozens of shows since. Always had a great time. My favorite band from that era.
seeing Roger wearing an iron maiden shirt is such a surreal experience for me. A close friend of mine who introduced Less than Jake to me passed 10 years ago, and we would trade music frequently. I would usually push heavy metal and he would get me to listen to ska punk. Iron Maiden was my favorite band at the time, and I distinctly remember trying to have him listen to powerslave. i'm not sure tht I got him to listen to metal, but I know because of him Less than Jake sits up there with Opeth, Iron Maiden, and Metallica as one of my favorite bands. All of your friends miss you man.

Back in the day they would take requests from the crowd of any 80's song and they could play it. Any request. They played it. Very talented crew. This is early 90's.
This lineup is definitely not original members. Chris, Roger, and Buddy (for the most part) are original. That isn’t Vinnie on the drums and JR joined in the early 2000s.
For one of the greatest live bands ever, this is the worst set ive heard. Sound engineer messed up badly here...pls do better when u come to Australia...if id forked out for this set id be pissd.
Could just be the way the stage audio is being recorded for the video… and you know what, I still wish I was in the circle pit that formed before Automatic!
I was thinking the same thing. This sounds ridiculous. I see these guys live every year and never heard them sound like this. Also, I’m probably in the minority, but I think Metalheads and Johnny Quest are two of their most overrated songs. I would rather them play a couple other songs that they don’t perform live very often than those two songs. Does anybody else also not like the addition of “Hey!” being shouted in Johnny being performed live?
@@fabioneves.a Look for normal bands maybe not. But this isn't a normal band...I've listened to like 100 different sets on CZcams. No matter the venue. No matter the crowd noise. No matter the recording quality...I've never heard them sound anything but awesome. The instrument-vocal levels here are simply not right. I love this band. Just questioning if this was the set to upload and hoping for something better when I inevitably sell a kidney and make the 600km round trip to see them in Sydney/Wollongong later this year 😂
