About the Deuce Season 1 Trailer
Created by George Pelecanos and David Simon (The Wire) and starring James Franco and Maggie Gyllenhaal, The Deuce follows the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York’s Times Square from the early 1970s through the mid-1980s, exploring the rough-and-tumble world at the pioneering moments of what would become the billion-dollar American sex industry. George Pelecanos, David Simon, James Franco and Nina K. Noble executive produce.
They're filming right now on my block, how cool is that. I don't have HBO so I haven't seen the show but it's still mad cool seeing the old cars driving around and seeing actors doing their thing.

Been watching this series from the start, just started watching series 3 and it’s still as good as series 1 episode 1.

Who doesnt love the 70'S.? I adore it. I imagine those that dont like this type of show werent there. Little, mommys boy, PC Millenium kids. Looks like Taxi Driver meets Boogie Nights. Best music decade ever!
I was born in Oct 19th 2000 and i'm looking forward to watch this series after i finish 11.22.63 and to furthermore my argument not all kids nowadays feebleminded, attention seeking whore who happen to be addicted to social media.
I was born in 92 but I love all kinds of 70s music as well as movies.To me the decade had a Swagger all its own!

Good show but they should’ve carried the 70s portion at least another season before moving to the 80s which shoulda been a couple seasons

I think when a series comes on later than most people cant watch it on the first run so they view it as nobody watching .
Solid show, but season 1 finale is a little David Simon heavy .

It was only ever going to be 3 seasons - it's 1985....New York is almost clean....if they'd planned a long haul it would go year by year instead of 1971, 1977, 1985
