With this new reorganization I'm able to work smarter NOT harder and spend more time doing what I love, crafting! I do all sorts of crafting from jewelry, to polymer clay, to custom t-shirts and gifts. However, my main passion the last handful of years has been handmade greeting cards. This is longer than my normal vids but there's lots to cover and lots of drawers to peek into! Wow, what a terrific space! Thanks so much for sharing it with us. What struck me is all the thought that went into this space creation.. how you use things, what’s great to have within reach, grouping things used together, using art that inspires you and incorporating your other creative interests for both you and your daughter-sweet!! I have been doing a similar process all summer in bits and pieces. Lots of purging, golly thinks collect…! 🙄. Placing things… then rethinking and moving them again! Next weekend 2 friends and I are having our ‘Crafty Friends cleaned up their studios’ garage sale!! Can’t wait to see how much space that will open up! I too have a small sofa in my room.. sometimes a gal just has to chill…and the supervising Doodle needs a space to chill as well!!🤣🤣😀 Thanks again for sharing this!!🧑🏼🎨
That's awesome that you guys are going to do a garage sale in result of your purge session! My friend who is getting started has been making continued pick ups from me lol. Thankfully I also have one of those "buy nothing" local facebook groups as well so that has been another good place to offload, that and facebook marketplace for things that I want to sell! Hi there! The ledge does come in handy! I actually don't really have wooden stamps anymore as I converted them to cling stamps a while ago. I do have a few wooden background stamps though so that's definitely something to consider, thanks!!

I'm so glad you like it! Yeah those spice racks are amazing. I got the idea from Kristina but was able to find ones that fit perfectly in the alex drawers. Also, you could do these rows side by side in the wider alex as well with the size that I have linked in my amazon storefront. So visually appealing to have them laid out like that!!! Your space is wonderful and an inspiring place to imagine, plan and create. I am working on your fantastic idea of having pre-made sentiments on hand. I have not found the hockey card holders, so my poor little sentiments are in random dishes and empty hummus containers. Very clean but inefficient.

Thankyou for your tour, what a fabulous space you have. I've got some of those containers that you have your stamps in - I use for my dies, going to do the same for my stamps one day. Sometimes I find that I spend more time organising my stash than actually crafting.

Awesome space! I have the CP minis also. I have mine in a Stamp N Storage 10 drawer cube. Each drawer holds 32 ink pads in a 11x12 single compartment tray that they sell. Most of my inks are in this unit and it is right next to my craft desk. Thanks for sharing.
@@amyschrock6124 I have 4 drawers - 2 for party collection and 2 for spa. Currently my neutrals are with the spa since there are less of those and a couple of full size pads. I put mine in color order when she stopped the collections.
That's AWESOME! So one drawer holds 32?!?! so then you only need a couple drawers for the whole collection?

Beautiful craft room, Amy!! It’s so wonderful when you can have the right type of storage to match your craft. You did a great job, I know how much work it is to purge and organize. I went through it a few months ago myself. I felt so great when I got it all done. Now, in preparation for retirement in a month, I’ve been going crazy buying supplies and specialty tools, so when the budget tightens, I’ll still feel like I have what I need for a while anyway. 😂. WOW Amy! Great studio for creating! It will be a dream come true when I finally get organized. I caught the stamping bug back in the mid to late 90's and have "collected" all the new goodies (including ACLD stencils and CP mini inks) as they have been brought to the marketplace. Oh wow, you have been at the card making gig for a long time! I haven't been bit by the card making bug for quite that long but I have always been a creator. I had to ask my husband. It's a bedroom that's roughly 12x12ft he would guess so decent sized but not super big. Thanks so much for watching!!

Thank you for sharing your craft room and the great design/use of space principles behind it. I have to ask; do you purge your stamps, dies & embossing folders regularly? My embossing folders alone take up 4 bins. My stamps and dies are in the thousands.
I haven't really purged the embossing folders but yes, I do periodically purge my stamps and dies! I'm also trying to stop buying so much moving forward but that's a bit of a challenge...eek. Thanks so much for checking it out!
Beautifully organized craft space…so inspiring! I really need to take the time to clean off my work surface again! I’m planning to use some gift cards to buy myself a Misti or other stamp positioner. If you don’t mind my asking, what other brands have you tried, and which is your favorite? Also, I notice that you have the mini as well as the original Misti. Still trying to decide if I should save a few bucks and get the mini, or if I would later regret it’s size limitations…what is your opinion? Congratulations on your new space, and thanks for sharing.
Thanks you! The only other positioner that I have tried is the Tim Holtz version and I prefer the MISTI. I would definitely recommend the full size MISTI original because of size limitations with the mini. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching and for the note.

I watched this to get ideas for my room but you didn’t say where you got each of the containers. You showed one with little stand up bottles and u said you could take it out and you weren’t sure if it was staying that way. Would love to have known where that came from. Enjoyed seeing this still.
