That was us on the sleds. Looks like you guys where having a tough time in that 6" of snow 🤣
Not really, I just can't see anything when I was backing down to let you guys pass haha. Not enough snow to be challenging yet.
Your solid axle Toyota Tacoma on one tons and 40s is a beast!
Great Video! Stay Safe!
I just got a pair of Dana 60 axles, I'm gonna put them on my Titan!! I love your Tacoma!!
I totally get it, my land cruiser is way bigger than my old pickup. Still smaller than the taco. Bet it feels weird!
I used to use a good set of heavy duty chains on the front of my TJ for this stuff. Only had 31's but it would only get stuck if it got high centered.
That is one beautiful landscape from the tower!
@2:45 that's a hell yeah moment!
Looking good buddy. We should probably go wheeling some day
That truck is sick! Since the first video I loved it! 🤘🏻
I think it's going to do awesome 👌 👍👍
Looking good buddy!!
It's gonna rule the snow. Better flotation and the tons won't break. At least I seriously hope so. 🥶
Out doing BIG TRUCK things!
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEW!
6:20 fantastic that it pulls...
You oughta invest in a tire knife and go to town on those tires
Is it just me,I did the power not really seem to translate to the tires on the 4runner? Noticed when he headed up the embankment.
❤❤❤
I am confused the last video I watched of yours which was only two weeks ago. You were putting a V-8 in a Toyota but then I see you in this one is this a new Toyota for you?
Maybe turn your lights off so the camera can pick up what your doing. Daytime running are enough for cool factor
Well ... I might have been a little biased with my opinion 😂
great vid!! all i could think of is how solid lockers would be in both builds for the snow.
i love the new tacos and hoping to get one soon 🤞🏻 the 89 yj will be my hard wheeling/crawling rig but i know the taco will be great for camping and more “functional” outdoor activities
Both builds have lockers front and rear 🤣 it's just sugar snow, spin to bottom and then find the ice underneath. Need a few more snowfalls with different heat cycles to pack it down and make good flotation snow.
@@DirtGarage oof totally my bad, i’m sorry! i read further down and dig more digging after i commented and realized i was wrong 🙃 i’m also a total noob at snow wheeling so my lack of knowledge on that front doesn’t help lol
stoked to see another snow vid! once the yj is on the road again im hoping to finally get out there and do some more snow stuff
Transfer, I meant
Anyone know what front bumper is on this truck?
The Tacoma? It's junk, didn't fit well from the start and had to be cut up and bent in 3 different spots to even work 🤣 I do not recommend it.
@@DirtGarage haha thank you for the reply. I went back and watched like 7 videos until I found where you mentioned it. That's too bad it's junk because it looks sick. The search continues. Love the content. Thank you for the reply!
I would think snow wheeling is a good way to throw a bearing.
Looks like everywhere was a ice rink
Essentially. Dig through to bottom in sugar snow and find frozen ground underneath.
Pro's and cons to everything. pick your poison. Deeper snow later on gonna sink like the titanic unless you have more HP to float those tires. nice build.
Nice to see you and wife out wheeling
