Would be cool if there was a legendary or rare that could discover a card you burned.

@@Behradsa78 Between the 3 but, Common is to low a rank for a would be safety rope. If the card could be like Twisted knowledge that would be great since thereâs a good possibility 1 out of the 2 could be burned(3 if others deem it right). Maybe a minion form that works like Lady Liadrin and/or YâSharajj could be the legendary. Usually the hand is near empty and Rustwix is the only (slight) saving grace. It would be dope if I could ask a dev before the mini set makes an appearance.
For most of the games it feels like Neeru wasn't even there. He feels almost like a late Nomi that the opponent will just be able to kill you by the time you can get his infinite value going.
I mean looking at how he played it, which seemed to be the correct way, Neeru is just redundancy for Nomi in the same way the fill your deck cards have redundancy. If you have one of em in hand you can just let it rip since you will win with tempo anyway. You don't need both in hand and if you have one of em deleting the other one so that you can play the one in hand seems to always be correct. There might be some matchup dependent ones like if you happen to run into a control warrior Neeru is probably better than Nomi but yeah.
@@ruukinen neeru has actually proven to be quite good in a control warlock mirror in standard almost every time I get him i can out value the opponents jarraxus. Only time Iâve lost is when tickatus burns him.
@@lukemorrison7065 I really don't see how it's working for you and the stats also support my view point. In wild where you can delete the chaff from your deck with one card sure but in standard you have to rely on altar of fire which is literally the worst card ever printed and/or you just don't get there as fast.
Edit: Just checked the win rates of Neeru and his synergy and in standard they are horrible. In wild, they are just as if not even more horrible.

@Ali Super its compairing inf 3/2s to 15 minions that range from 5/6 to 10/8 that cost at most 2, removing all but 4 cards from the opponants deck, and a near perma 13/13 so yeh
"Burning cards is effectively doing nothing, unless it goes to fatigue".
That is patently not true. I understand your point of view: from the standpoint of the card being used, it effectively puts it "on the bottom" of their deck, until and unless all the cards are drawn.
However, from a game theory standpoint burning the cards does at least one thing that makes it do FAR more than "nothing": both players can see the cards that were burned.
This information changes the game drastically, as you have demonstrated on many occasions when you said "Great, we know they won't have this card anymore, so we can play differently based on that information".
It would only "do nothing" in an effective sense if the card that you burned wasn't shown to you. But that mechanic would change the game in other ways that might be less fun( like if you're a combo deck and you never know whether you burned your combo piece or it's just on the bottom).
If it only showed you what card was burned, and not your opponent, that would be the closest to "doing nothing" while still making sure people don't play for 10 more turns before they find out they're missing the key card for their deck.

Ive run a tickatus deck, with cthun and used it uncorrupted to guarantee a 0 cost cthun next turn. feels good man

@@user-jc1kq1qb5j Im guessing he's playing with Supreme Archeology ("new" warlock quest) and you just hold off on playing your last c'thun piece until after Tickatus (could even be done with OG c'thun and doomcaller but this likely deals less damage in most situations). There's probably a Polkelt in there too for draw consistency.

This deck seems better than I thought it would be. Kinda crazy how all it takes is a critical mass of cards that work together in order to get a playable deck.
I've been trying to make Neeru works alot of times in different variants of decks lol since i got it for free but your list seems pretty neat thanks Roffle !

What about cutting one altar of fire and adding soularium? would probably be better in most cases imo
They achieve the same effect for yourself, that's true, but the opponent disruption is gone (which is small unless you burn them just after they Polkelt or something). Given its a new (and bad) archetype, I think part of the goal was to use some of the new cards here. The deck wasn't named "BAD" for no reason, haha.

I stopped disenchanting my wild cards after starting to watch Roffle
I noticed I lost so much dust but welp...
Wild is the only fun, It's sad so many people don't realize that and resort to playing the same op brainless decks for the win.
I know you show off your most interesting battles which usually means the deck performing at it's best, but this deck seems really strong.
About that Buff weak card and Nerf strong cards argument. I would say making a wild only update in between seasons once/twice a year, where they buff old understated/weak cards with interesting effects would be cool. I am not arguing there can't be weak cards but certain old cards would be cool and perhaps fun to play with and not lose automatically. But I dont think it should be a regular change to a very few cards and I also don't think they should change their nerf policy.
The unnerfs where amazing fun, atleast for me, and it would be coold seeing something like that for cards beyond the nerfed ones.
it's definitely better than just radomely unerfing cards. Like, actually considering the effects of the bufs intead of buffing them for no reason other than 'well, it was like this at first" even though it's obvious nothing good can come in the meta from this. Like, the necrium apotherapy unerf.

Why not? Comparing identical things would be rather pointless.
They have a different purpose and fit in completely different decks. You normally compare things with a similar purpose, so that there is a direct comparison. That way you can make a determination of which one is "better" at the job in a particular metagame. If you try to compare cards that do different things and belong in different decks, it makes more sense to compare the entire deck archetypes than one card in each.
I was curious if soul warden works on destroyed cards as well as discarded cards
That recommendation the Twitch user asked regarding nerfing the most used cards and buffing the the least used, is exactly what is being done all the time in League of Legends. So the meta constantly shifts. With a game like Hearthstone where people have Standard and not just Wild players, that would (as Roffle said) shake things up too much.

Hey roffle, love your videos. but you should totally do mobile friendly deck codes in your descriptions, i play on mobile and itâs super hard to get the deck code from you but i still do it sometimes cause you have amazing decks!

I don't think it's desirable to have good and bad cards, but play rate isn't a perfect measure of that. A card will be played more if it fits in more archetypes, if it's cheaper to craft or if it looks cool and not just because it's overpowered.
Yeah the policy of Nerfing the best cards every year has been the tradition for Yugioh in the form of bans and limits, and it hurts for players w/ no money. Itâs also a direct result of completely broken cards being printed almost every set, buuut it also allows more to be printed.

I'd probably craft nomi over neeru tbh. Nomi has a much bigger impact when he's played.
Nerfing the most used card would see a lot of good utility pieces getting nerfed for being good utility.
Things like Knight of Annointment or Hand of Adal in paladin.
Not really game breaking, but in a class that lacks draw, i wouldn't be surprised if every paladin ran multiple copies.
