Thank you so much for sharing your insights, there were so many things I would not have even considered had you both not pointed them out. Wishing you both safe travels and many wonderful memories. Blessings.
Thank you so much Angelique. We really appreciate your kind comment! Thank you for watching and let us know what you end up deciding. Hope to see you out there one day :)
Truly the best overview of RV’s EVER! You guys covered it all. I thought I had thought of everything but you guys opened my eyes to even more. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge.
We really enjoyed putting this together :) Thank you so much for your comment and for watching! We are so pleased to hear that our video helped. Safe travels!
Thank you Idaho Rider. Sounds like you are well on your way toward the RV lifestyle. You will not regret the freedom that comes from RVing. Keep us posted on your progress and maybe we will meet you out there one day!
Of the 100s, maybe 1000s of RV review type videos that I have watched, this one is hands down the BEST I have seen! Thanks a ton for putting this together!!!
That is so very nice of you to say :) We really enjoyed making this one and hoped it would benefit those that were looking for the right RV. Thank you so much for watching!
Superb video guy s with lots of realistic and practical tips. Had a Mandalay 40 ft Diesel Pusher and the Mfr addressed almost every concern we could have had with it's layout and amenities. Beautiful and practical coach. It was a pleasure to live in and travel in.....
+Red Love Show Thank you so much Red. We have learned so much but we still have a lot to learn. The journey is half the fun :) Thank you for your kind words and thank you for watching. Safe travels!
I have to say, you guys have done a great job here. One of the best reviews of what to look for and what to stay away from. Thanks! On my way to an RV show in the morning!!
This is possibly the best pre-sale RV video on you tube, So many things you don't think of as you're doing a regular walk through. As much as I like to save money, you do get what you pay for in the RV world.
Loved your video! We have been researching this for a couple years and also have decided to purchase a new tiffin allegro 34pa. We are so excited, we are ordering it next week so it will be a 2017 model, the only thing we didn't like was the location of the tv but we were told the 2017 model has some new up grades hopefully the tv will be across from the couch instead, being as we want the computer workstation hopefully the tv will be there n a " televator" .... Well enough rambling , clear skies , Steve
Sounds like you are getting ready for some great trips. You will really enjoy your Tiffin. What an exciting time! Hope to see you out there soon :) Safe travels and thank you for watching!
Thanks for all the tips. We looked at the Tiffin and so far it is the best quality we have scene. We are not sure how big or how small we want to go. Still looking.
You are so welcome. We have really enjoyed our Tiffin and we felt the same about the quality. We have a 31SA and the size is just right for us. There are times that the extra bed size in the 32SA or the extra bathroom in the 36LA would be nice but when you get into tight parks we are sure glad to be at 32 total feel. Let us know what you decide. Thank you for watching and hope to see you on the road one day :)
We don't have an RV yet but have been looking for 15 years or so. No kidding lol. I am glad you mentioned the carpet. I do not want ANY capreting if we can help it. LIke you said, it gets dirty, allergies, dogs, etc.. Insulation is really important because I want it to be as quite as possible. Also, we want it sturdy enough that it won't fly around on the highway. We are definitely set on a class A between 34-36 feet. New. So now we have to narrow down make & model. It most likely will be at LEAST 1 year or maybe 2 years before we finally get one. Great video :) Melody
+Living Free Forever Thank you so much for watching Melody! Searching for the right RV was a very enjoyable process so have fun going to the shows and talking shop with everyone with experience. We took plenty of time with our decision which also gave us time to save a bit more toward the purchase. There are so many RVs out there so just dig in and have fun. This is such an exciting time to get involved in RVing :)
Average Campers' Adventures lol we have been going to shows for about 15 years, walking through, talking, belonged to yahoo groups before CZcams. They keep changing though over the years. It is FUN. I LOVE it! :)
Good video. While watching, I wondered how you ever found a coach that meets your needs without getting something customized. Did you come up with a priority list of these items you mentioned or did you find a coach that meets all of your needs. After looking at many manufacturers and a hundred or so models, we cannot find something that meets all of our needs and have started a priority list. Enjoy your adventures!
That is a great question Barry. We spent years going to RV shows looking for the perfect fit. Unfortunately, a perfect fit does not exist. We think that you will find many of your must haves become wish you hadn't after living in your coach. Perfect example is a washing machine. We are doing just fine without one and really appreciate having a smaller coach which fits into many more campgrounds. Don't hesitate to bounce your ideas off of us. We would be happy to help ground your decision making process. Thank you for your comment and thank you for watching! Good luck with your search Barry!
Nice, but I'm more of a tent person. I have a 18x18 teepee tent. Maybe one day I'll go RVing. I'll keep in mind what I've learned from you guys. Thanks.
We have a Tiffin Allegro 31SA gas coach and our door is toward the front like a diesel coach. Works good for our floor plan but may not work as well with other floor plans. Thanks for watching Marc!
Congrats on your Tiffin. We really enjoy our Tiffin and we continue to be happy with our purchase. Good luck and safe travels! Thank you for the comments and for watching.
👍Hello Hello, this video is super for me as I research RVs & what'll work for me. Thank you for taking the time to record, edit & post this video. Wishing you guys the best. 🤗💞🤗
Thank you so much for your kind comment LovingAtlanta. We are so pleased to hear that it helped you in your search. Let us know if we can offer any additional information if you have specific questions later. Have a great New Year and safe travels!
Just a guess based on you watching this video :) Hope the information will help you find the perfect RV for you and maybe we will see you out there in the future!
Our coach has 4 house batteries which are charged by the alternator while driving. The batteries power our fridge via a power converter as we travel. Hope this helps :) Thank you for watching Steve!
Man, have looked at so many coaches with the oddest TV placement. Most have good layouts, but the TV placement is just so strange and uncomfortable to view. Just had to comment since you pointed it out too. Glad I'm not the only one that is annoyed by that. lol
+BlindViews So true about the TVs. I guess it is ok for those that just don't enjoy TV on those rainy days or cold nights :) Thank you for watching and for your comment. Safe travels!
Have a look at our other video called "The Truth About Buying a New RV". This video should clear up any questions you may have about compensation. Thanks for watching and safe travels.
We did consider diesel but, based on the added cost and average length of ownership (3-4 years), gas was a more attractive deal for our needs. There are so many benefits to diesel if you plan on keeping your rig through it's lifespan but, many trade well before. If you trade early you can lose your butt on a diesel rig :) Thanks for watching Ray !
Okay, so what you're really talking about is a motorhome, not an RV. The phrase "RV" refers to everything from a four-wheeler to a swamp buggy, including travel trailers, pop-up tent campers, dirt bikes, and more. A motorhome is only one small part of that.
We would have to say Tiffin, Newmar and Holiday Rambler. Both use high quality materials and have a long history of production. There are others such as Fleetwood. Build quality is not as good but, the price can be more attractive. You might consider used if the price is a sticking point. Find the top model for the year you are looking for and you should be in good shape. Hope this helps a bit.
Average Campers' Adventures Thank you very much. Better build quality & new are a must. I'd rather get something smaller but better quality. Thank you :)
As long as the items are kept in the living area you will be good. This goes for firearms as well. Good question and thank you for watching Blaine! Safe travels
Not all drawers. We have seen a significant difference between manufacturers. I guess if a buyers focus is to save a few bucks on gas the thinner wood would be preferable and maybe choosing a much smaller rig. We plan to live full time in our rig and would like it to last longer than just a few trips on the weekend over the years of ownership. Thanks for watching Joe!
brand new trucks and cars i have shopped for i could not stand being in for very long. as some of us get sick from the out-gassing of the plastics and glues.
Cute video. Made me think...how little the rv industry have changed in the last 40-50 years. most invest nothing in engeneering (specially egronomics and human engineering) Same ol' materials zero high tech. Compare that to the automotive industry.
That is a really good point when you compare the RV industry to automotive or sticks and bricks homes. We have seen some amazing developments with some companies but many rely on older cheaper build technology to keep the price more affordable. Thanks for watching Joe!
Average Campers' Adventures it would have been fun if he peed on one of them vents and then figure out what it was. Would have been a real messy learning experience :P
Thank you so much for sharing your insights, there were so many things I would not have even considered had you both not pointed them out. Wishing you both safe travels and many wonderful memories. Blessings.

Excellent overview. So thorough.
Thank you so much for watching Peggy :)
We really do LOVE our Tiffin 32SA layout. It is perfect for how we like to live.
Very nice video with a lot of good advice that I appreciate. Thanks

Excellent information thanks!!
+Ray J You are so welcome Ray. Thank you for watching and good luck with your search!
Thanks for sharing . Little long, i watched it in 4 segments. But lots of info for someone just starting out.
+Life In Serenity So true. Usually we try to keep our videos under 20 minutes but this one covered a lot of information. Thanks for watching!

We like doing both. Together, they make a great combination :) The teepee tent sounds like good fun. Thanks for watching and for your comments Edwin!
Thanks for such an informative video. What is your preferred coach entry door location?
We have a Tiffin Allegro 31SA gas coach and our door is toward the front like a diesel coach. Works good for our floor plan but may not work as well with other floor plans. Thanks for watching Marc!
i just bought a 2004 tiffin allegro 30da for 20k it is the 8.1 28 k miles and 99 hr on the gen i love it
Congrats on your Tiffin. We really enjoy our Tiffin and we continue to be happy with our purchase. Good luck and safe travels! Thank you for the comments and for watching.

Am I the only one that checked to see is my smoke detectors needed a battery?
you did a very nice review here.
+New Beginnings with Budhi and Cyndi Thank you very much and thank you for watching :)
Very informative. Thanks!
Thank you for your comment Rick !! Good luck with your search :)
How did you know I was still searching?
Just a guess based on you watching this video :) Hope the information will help you find the perfect RV for you and maybe we will see you out there in the future!
That big fridge, does it run on electric and propane? If not how do you keep it cool when driving?
Our coach has 4 house batteries which are charged by the alternator while driving. The batteries power our fridge via a power converter as we travel. Hope this helps :) Thank you for watching Steve!

sounds like a commercial for tiffin wonder if any form of compensation was paid for this? IF so it should be disclosed upfront.
Have a look at our other video called "The Truth About Buying a New RV". This video should clear up any questions you may have about compensation. Thanks for watching and safe travels.
Some good points
+Mary Cox Thank you Mary :)
Do you know which county’s in Florida that allow full time RV living?
The only one we are aware of is Taylor County in Northern Florida. Best of luck with your search and thank you so much for reaching out to us. :)
Great video, did you consider diesel?
We did consider diesel but, based on the added cost and average length of ownership (3-4 years), gas was a more attractive deal for our needs. There are so many benefits to diesel if you plan on keeping your rig through it's lifespan but, many trade well before. If you trade early you can lose your butt on a diesel rig :) Thanks for watching Ray !
We also like hard floors, carpet does not work for us, Life with ken and jane. Nice rig
We love our floors and we are very pleased with how they are holding up. Still looks new and no smell :) Thanks for watching Ken and Jane!
I'm looking at a tiffin 32sa
+UH-1H We really enjoy our Tiffin and would recommend their coaches to everyone. Good luck with your search!
i am geting 2016 RENEGADE VERONA MOTOR HOME beginning next year on Spring i looking four it
+lionhart2728 Freedom on wheels. Sounds like you have a few adventures planned. Best decision we make to get out there and see this amazing country.
thank you
Okay, so what you're really talking about is a motorhome, not an RV. The phrase "RV" refers to everything from a four-wheeler to a swamp buggy, including travel trailers, pop-up tent campers, dirt bikes, and more. A motorhome is only one small part of that.
The only thing they could do better is make the front curtain wide enough to track on the outside pillars of the front.
Thanks for the comment Steve!
What do yo all think is the BEST quality Class A Toyhauler NEW RV for the money? 34 to 36 feet around $100,000 - $125,000. Thanks.
+Living Free Forever We have not looked into toy haulers very closely but, the next show we attend, we will dig in and give you our opinion.
Average Campers' Adventures Thank you! and if not a toyhauler what do you think?

Sounds like a good plan. Keep us posted on your progress. We would love to know what you decide :)
There are no/few lemon laws for RVs, buyers unaware of this are Camping Worlds lawful prey. Wish I had found your vids before I bought from them.
+Allen Williams Thank you for watching Allen!
Great video. It's unfortunate that the majority of manufacturers are building junk.
Thanks for watching! Maybe we will see changes soon that make the industry better.
This may seem like a stupid question until you get pulled over by the police. How/what is the legal way to transport open booze bottles in an RV?
As long as the items are kept in the living area you will be good. This goes for firearms as well. Good question and thank you for watching Blaine! Safe travels
all drawers have 1/4 in plywood. If all the doors were solid the trailer would weight an extra ton. there goes your gas mileage.
Thanks for watching Joe!
the "new car stench" can not be avoided. if the unit is "new" it should stink. if it does not, then it has been around a long time.
Some just seem a little stronger than others. Thanks for watching Larry.
brand new trucks and cars i have shopped for i could not stand being in for very long. as some of us get sick from the out-gassing of the plastics and glues.
The glues are what really get us. Difficult to stay inside some RVs very long.
Cute video.
Made me think...how little the rv industry have changed in the last 40-50 years.

When he said and dont miss the heater vent hole in the toilet and she laughed, did you pee on one of them thinking it's an outlet???? :P
+Red Love Show We can be a bit strange at times and our humor can be a bit off center... LOL
Average Campers' Adventures it would have been fun if he peed on one of them vents and then figure out what it was. Would have been a real messy learning experience :P
+Red Love Show Thant would have been an expensive fix :)
very simple if i have wet oogy feet i take my shoes off carpet is fine
the smell is from cheap press board and not real wood
The "Average " camper is not driving around in a class A. Just saying
So true. Our name was not to indicate that our camper is average but that we are average in our knowledge of camping.
