About this circuit:
Belgium's Spa-Francorchamps circuit is among the most historic on the Formula One calendar, having hosted a (non-championship) Grand Prix as long ago as 1924, and remains one of the most popular venues with drivers and fans alike.
Run on narrow public roads, the original Spa layout was an amazing 14.9 kilometres long and notoriously dangerous. The lap distance was reduced slightly over the years, with some corners eased, but when the 'old' circuit staged its final Grand Prix in 1970 it still measured just over 14 kilometres and remained staggeringly quick - Chris Amon set that year's fastest lap at an average speed of just under 245 km/h.
Spa did not return to the calendar until 1983 and then in drastically revised form, with lap distance cut to just under seven kilometres. Somehow, though, the circuit's magic was retained. Around two thirds of the lap used the original layout and the legendary Eau Rouge corner remained intact. Only the new Bus Stop chicane on the run down to La Source drew criticism.
More than twenty years on Spa remains the longest circuit on the calendar. Its mix of long straights and challenging fast corners, coupled with its picturesque setting, means that most drivers still rank it among their favourite tracks.
The weather is still notoriously changeable (it can often be simultaneously raining on one part of the track and dry on another) and Eau Rouge, with its high speed and sudden elevation change, maintains its reputation as one of Formula One racing's most technically demanding corners.
Such is the challenge of Spa that only the truly great drivers can really claim to have mastered it. In fact just six men have won the race more than twice - Juan Manuel Fangio (three times), Damon Hill (three times), Kimi Raikkonen (four times), Jim Clark (four times), Ayrton Senna (five times) and Michael Schumacher (six times). - Hry

you drive good, but you can still go faster at the turns, when you came out from the turn, it looks like you dont need all the track, so the guy behind will pass you easy on the straights

yeah same setting as me. just auto gear box. and not wheel just standed pad.would be better to learn all gear changes for ever track but would take up so much time. good driving! practice make perfect. if you do an real practice session the muscles memory takes over. then you can just adjust breaking according to fuel land etc. love it!
Start off with Manual with suggested gears. At first you're having to watch what gear you need but after a while it you figure it out from sound of the revs

Looks easy , but isnt at all, if you drive against high difficulty AI and with assists off. Even with some assists on, it is still a difficult challenge to be on par.

Great vid! I pick this up a few weeks ago. I too have been playing racing games for many years now, 20 I'd say but before that also. Do you use Auto gears as a norm? I try not to use any assist but this game is tricky, auto gears are definitely smoother. I've never bought into no assists being faster, depends on the circuit, weather and car.

That is the most realistic F1 racing game I've ever seen, and you drove really well too. What set up of the car did you use? I keep getting WAY too much oversteer. ( I have a previous version)
An easy way to decrease oversteer is by increasing downforce on the rear wing or by decreasing downforce on the front wing.

No, I don't think so. I do wish there would be an option to save replays and watch them back later on though!
On PC you have the option to replay races after they are done

The Eau Rouge is such a challenging corner. For the CCs... The first laps were total carnage. You drove a clean race, but the pace wasn't really there, especially in the final stint. By the way, what was Ricciardo doing? Meeting his girlfriend in the pits every few laps?
By the way, the sheer informationlessness of most radio messages is annoying. Why did that engineer have to tell you that it wasn't going to rain every 5 minutes? In real life you'd probably be disqualified for the instructions to change the brake bias or to save fuel, though...

Wtf is happening with the game from 13:53 - 17:57 ... especially 15:17 looks like an annoying bug... i mean if not a bug then a stupid AI, that all of these cars did make a crash in that moment. Because of all that you got from place 11 to 2. That moment kinda breaked the immersion....

You drive great but , you should make it clear what difficulty it is. Sorry to say this but hard to believe it is legend difficulty. I pick difficulty while in stream, then every viewer can see which difficulty i pick before i go:) Best regards man:)

Absolutely do this! I switched to manual on f1 2015 and my lap times dropped by a significant amount! Start with Manual w/ Suggested then move to full manual.

I guess it's just experience. I've been playing racing games for over 15 years. So loads of practice makes perfect. :)

They're standard. I've never changed those settings.

Why didn't you pit at the first sign of the safety car? Could have made your race way more easy
