Great Duels! Though it seems like you may have also noticed some kinks in Umi throughout the event, it definitely has trouble against Ice Barrier especially some who decide to run Warlock which acts like an Anti-Spell Fragrance, and Armored Xyz which is unaffected by Ice Barrier and takes your monsters as overlay….
@LoneWolfPrime thanks! Yes, this deck definitely has its weaknesses, especially against other water decks.
Umi to me was very bad in this event. I played 11 duels & lost all. Most decks was ice barrier & umi has no effect on that deck. When I went against 2 wind deck I didn't draw umi at all of course smh. I have no other decks that can gain gems from this event sadly smh. I guess this event is to give back gems to all the ones that bought ice barrier packs lol
@joshuadansby2874 haha for sure. This definitely feels like the only reason this event is happening is because of ice barriers.
Umi Control is good... against Wind decks. 😆

Nice moves there at the end I've been using Phantasm Spiral for the event with some pretty mixed results.

@@TheRealTcgGuy It can be a bit redundant so far for every one WIND deck I come across I get 5 consecutive WATER decks and PS isn't all that good against fellow WATER strategies.

amazing i don't think so how many losses did you have in between each ive copied this deck and already 20 duels in and each is a loss
I ended up going 5 and 2.
whole win condition is a floodgate against non water monsters > plays the deck in a water and wind only monsters festival, still wins > gigachad

@@TheRealTcgGuy i'm playing this as my main and i have a question: do you think it works better with morganite-reasoning-possibly imperm, or with hand traps and warrior of atlantis ?
@@UranoSteam Personally I have found that playing it with morganite is a little better. Since this is a control deck I find the games can go longer so being able to draw twice is awesome, as well as being able to normal summon twice per turn.

This deck is especially powerful against non water decks, so sadly not as powerful as it could be for this event.
Umi is great for wind decks against water.......has been meh sadly
