Those "balls" are called Army Bombs, most Kpop groups have a specific one that they sell in their own websites. It's actually really interesting because each group has their own unique lightstick.
Disco! at the Panic Clarification: Most KPop groups have their own light sticks, ARMY Bombs being the specific light stick for BTS.
Some, if not most light sticks also come with vibration sensor with them to accommodate fans who are deaf! This allows them to 'hear' the songs buy vibrating at certain parts to help indicate what song is playing atm in concert!
If you have a loose $300 lying around, you can get the newest ones, that can be controlled en masse by some venues, and have different settings for different pulsing beats.
Myself, I'm still using the classic BIC concert celebration. LOL
An Army Bomb costs $33 without shipping and like $50 from their US base, people who sell it for hundreds usually even sell fake ones.
Also, they are called ARMY Bombs because they have the shape of the cartoon type bombs because BTS stands for Bangtan Sonyendan which roughly translates to “Bulletproof Boy-scouts” so they are the Boy-scouts and we as a fandom share the name of A.R.M.Y.s as an acronym.

The BTS 2015 HYYH Concert was in Seoul, Korea and then they performed the same concert in several cities in Japan as well. One of the reasons Koreans have good voices possibly is because singing I believe has been a release for them from such oppression as well as a very repressive society and government in the past as well in history when they suffered such hardships singing was a way of venting pent up emotions and a release for them. They work so extremely hard to make ends meet even having to work on weekends without extra pay and if they refuse no problem they will just lose their job, same can be said for the younger generation who are not only expected to go to school but then it is really required to go to very costly tutoring programs that their parents can't afford that end very late then go home and study more so going to karaoke afterwards and singing definitely helps get rid of their frustration. Also there are so many singing shows of all kind on Korean tv. There is even one that is so famous that anyone can go to and enter. It is beyond famous and has been around for decades. Even some Kpop idols have gone on it before they were known. Speaking of which most singers especially Kpop idols have to go through a trainee period usually for at least 2 years maybe more. Many times they are even signed by the age of 12 -13 like Jungkook was from BTS ( unlike the other 3 vocalists who did not have as much training. Jimin for instance was a trainee for only less than a year and his background was as a dancer with no vocal experience whatsoever (he was the one who did the high notes and sings with head voice). (Jin also had no vocal background but no dance background as well.) The coaches work on breathing techniques more than anything since idols are expected to dance as well as sing all at the same time. The sad thing is they're only signed a 7 year contract usually to allow for the fact that they will have to go to the military before age 30. Also they are very into those high notes and expect them at all costs. I believe that sadly some of these other entertainment companies overwork their artist "idols" with no concern about the strain or damage that might be put on their vocal cords. A comeback after military can be quite hard to do. Many artists are discarded after their contract is up and military is over after almost 2 year stint. BTS's company BigHit Entertainment does things totally different and work hand in hand with BTS as one big family. Unlike most other companies BTS are allowed to write, produce and be involved in many other aspects of their career. Also amazingly they started as a hip hop and mainly rap group so that is another reason some of their vocal line did not have those years of training. Which makes it all the more amazing how incredibly good they are now which just gives credit to the extreme 12 -15 hour days in the beginning to get to where they are now!

moreshige - OMG! What an absolutely brilliant idea for him to check out! It can be the most heart wrenching absolutely amazing vocals you will ever hear even though the tonality can at times be unfamiliar with this form of musical story telling it can even without understanding the words pull the emotions right out of you. There was a performance from someone who was still in her teens that sang so amazingly I will never forget it plus I loved that song that is a very classic Pansori song. both her parents were also fellow artists so she inherited all that passionate emotional vocals. Good points but right now, the contract every agency is max 7 years to avoid slave contract from the agency to their idols, it's a law after what happened to JYJ (to SM), before it's can be more years, or even forever. They can do contract again after the contract end if they wanna stay at the company, but they can leave after that if they want, so the idols at least have the choice too.

They all went through training, but it depended on their skills as well as continuous training after debut. They all try to improve themselves which is fantastic. Compared to some celebrities who once they get even a little bit of fame they think they don't need to work hard to improve themselves and their craft. It's ridiculous. We should all thank bang pd for training them hard and opening their minds to be better and harness their skills without killing them. He really loves them.

In KPop, groups usually design and release a light stick as part of their official merchandise. People going to concerts will either purchase the light stick ahead of time or at the concert. The BTS fan-base is called "Army", so their lightstick is called an "Army Bomb" (it's shaped like a bomb). You can google it to see what it looks like. The Army Bomb is pretty sophisticated. At a concert, BTS can actually remotely control the color of all the bombs in the venue via Bluetooth, to change all the bombs to a certain color, or make a rainbow in the stadium, or even spell out a word.

- They're called ARMY Bombs. They're lighsticks for their fandom (ARMY) to use during concerts/awards. The change colour and are cordinated with each other and the stage (but only the last version)
- The man with orange hair that did that high note is called Jimin (one of the 2 mean dancers, lead singer). You didn't asked for this but i'm just trying to introduce you a little bit
- The 7 of them always perform together. Unless the song is a "vocal line" song (4 members, the singers) or a "rap line" song (3 members, the rappers). They usually have one of both lines on each album/mini album.
-They produce, write and compose their own songs (specially RM and Suga, followed by JHope and Jungkook)

About your question related to the lightsticks: in K-Pop, every artist/group has their official lightsticks which have colours specific to the artist/group. Since BTS's fans are called ARMY, their lightsticks are called ARMY Bombs.
BTS Rain Live with English lyrics on screen is really a very beautiful and soulful song, all the vocalists shine in it and the rappers are as great as usual; definitely a must when it comes to studying the texture of their voices and how rich they can be :) Thank you for your detailed reaction as always!

Please check out - BTS Best Live Vocals - You will get to hear some of the best vocals from BTS mainly the vocalists. Since there are many clips from their older more R&B type songs (many of my favorites) it will feature a bit more of their Main Vocalist Jungkook as well as the Lead Vocalist Jimin who was the one with the reddish hair with the head voice and who sang those high notes toward the end who you commented on.This is the reason I suggested this but it does definitely show newer clips with more vocals of both Jin and Tae, the other vocalists as well. Since everyone has improved so much more now they both have bigger parts to sing now but in the beginning Jungkook with his falsetto and JIMIN with his head voice were in charge of singing all those high notes. That video is actually doesn't show Taehyung much at all so it's actually a really poor representation of the 4 vocalists of the group. It mostly features Jungkook and Jimin's high notes. Reacting to their individual solo songs and select performances widely known to feature really good vocals is much better.

I LIKED BEFORE I WATCHED. I really like your comments and analysis.. Actually, some people said that BTS’s vocal line ( Jin, Jimin, V, Jungkook) is weak compared to the rap line (RM, Suga, Jhope). They’ve improved so much and I’m so proud of that.
Jimin (the one who does high adlib) is actually quite conscious about his voice. There was a time when his voice cracked, he blamed himself a lot. I wish he could see how rare men who can reach that high of a note.
Jungkook has always been the main vocal. His voice is very versatile, good for voicing and blending. V and Jin as well. I love their voices, they have unique textures that can blend well together.

Yoongi is a wise man i believe he said something along the lines of "If you listen to our music without prejudice you will enjoy it". So they lights people hold are custom made light sticks, they are popular in SK, each band has its own signature. You can buy those on their websites and Olin the merch stands before concerts. They look amazing, during awards shows it's nice to see who is there to support which band
How I already wrote under another BTS reaction video of you: all the BTS members are SO humble and loveable!... I'm really not a girl, who liked boybands before and I'm nearly asexuel so you can't get my attention by being attractive. But despite that I really really like BTS, because they deserve their success so damn much! You can't even imagine how warmhearted they are to others and how hard they are with themselfs. Hey, I really like your reaction videos! For your information, the lyrics for "Hold Me Tight" was written by V (one of the members/ actually the one on the right :D).
Also the "glowing balls" (I was cracking up when you asked that xD) area Army Bombs which fans buy themselves and bring to the concerts. But not only BTS fans have them, there are for example the lightstick for the group BLACKPINK is a pink hammer, so many kpop groups have something for their fans.
Unfortunately, I don't know where the concert took place but it was one of their HYYH (HwaYangYeonHwa/eng. The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 2 ) Konzert.
I would love if you would react to their solo songs, which are showing their individual skills. Or "Let Me Know" which is one of the same HYYH era or "Let Go" which is a new song, it also has a choreography while live performed. :D

We, fans, have a soft spot for this song because it was the first one written by Taehyung. So, yes, the lyrics are symple. First, because Taehyung is an inexperienced songwritter and second because Taehyung really expresses himself like that: simple words, straightforward, pure language. It's my opinion.
Those lights are official BTS brand Light Sticks. v2 just came out for they're upcoming wold tour. (It can connect to central control and synchronize with stage lights).

Thank you!!! I discovered BTS over three years ago and Hold Me Tight has been my favorite song from the start. The only song that nearly knocked it out of it's #1 spot was "Sea"....it was a hidden song on their 2017 album Love Yourself: Her. That entire album is gold but honestly, so is every album they've ever made. They're selling out ARENA and stadium concerts in the US. Tour starts soon. All tickets sold out within minutes. And no. I didn't get any. 😭😭😭😭
For your question about the "lighted balls"...they're Fandom items. Each group has a color or colors associated with them. There are also "Fan Chants" for the groups...usually the members' names. Plus, the parts where you hear the fans singing back to the members or singing a word here and there. Some groups actually have videos on their CZcams channels that show the audience where to "chime in". Hope that helps. Thanks for the videos.
