Humanity depends so much on humor - I just realized from listening to Mr. Keillor.

Good grief, all these criticism this is a beautiful man who tells great stories I would put him right up there in the same class is Paul Harvey we need more people like Garrison. Keep up the good work, sir.

It is 6/23/2020 and this has only 966 views and 10 Likes. Does one need to say anything else about the current state of American society?

Garrison Keillor is the greatest humorous I have ever known, and now has been treated so poorly by the country he loved and respected. How could over 70 million Americans recently vote for our moronic, adulterous, lying loser ex-president who can't accept defeat and yet not remember all the beautiful honest stories Keillor could paint with his silver tongue? How could we not want such a gifted man to continue to give us good memories and a future we could be proud of in our stressful and callous world?

@@woodguy47071 Even though you clearly refer to Slick Willy I agree with you entirely on Keillor. He is perhaps the greatest humorist of our time. I think he got a raw deal in the end.

    What is humor about? 1:04:13
It’s Christmas time, 2020 and America is even more divided now than when this was recorded.
Garrison did get one thing right though. He said: “When you are telling the truth, you don’t need a script.”
He then proceeded to talk about Obama on his teleprompter...
Notice that PRESIDENT TRUMP always speaks extemporaneously.

You don’t need a teleprompter to repeat phrases like make America greater again, I’m the best , etc. nothing substantial

What this has to do with this video, is mind-boggling, to figure out. But since you went there, how's that CURRENT President working out for ya? Let's see...plagiarist, flip-flopper, empty vessel who needs a script and has his mic cut when off script and asks PERMISSION to talk to reporters...and that's just the semantics...what about Afghanistan DEBACLE and gas prices doubled bc he decided day one to shut down the pipeline, and the Southern Border, and COVID chaos and mandates....need I go on? You went there, so now it is my turn, so don't bother with another turn, bc I will only get to go again, and you lose, HUGE.

This man is so scary-looking. I listened to him for a long time before I ever saw a picture of him, and when I saw the picture it was horrifying. Maybe I'm just sensitive, but I think if I looked up an saw that face looking at me I would not be able to suppress at least a small scream.
