I can’t get on with modern technology, so I always have maps in my van , plus you wouldn’t want to be caught out in the wilds without an internet signal. Thanks for teaching us 😁👍🍻
Definitely. Even though I use the app mainly I always have a paper map in my bag just in case.
Good idea to transfer the map to your phone. We go walking around National Trust parks and a phone signal is often hard to find. 👍🏼
In future episodes I will be showing you how to use the app on your phone and the website as you can also print out the route from your PC.
Hi thank you so much for this I’m a very novice walker and this is so helpful will be watching the whole series. Please can I ask if you could also do a video on your walking clothes specifically what you wear on your hikes I would love some decent waterproofs and gaters etc but haven’t a clue on what’s good and where to start.
