    I've watched several interviews of hers today since seeing her impressive appearance on The View, where she calls some of the panel out for doubling down on Hillary's claim she's a Russian asset,. No matter who is interviewing her, she puts herself in the driver's seat. In this interview, twice, she ignores Maher's pointless, time-wasting bait to bad-mouth Trump and steers conversation back on track. Her track. There is zero BS with her, she doesn't jump on bandwagons and while she's always gracious, she definitely doesn't need to be "liked". She used to be hailed as the future of the dems by the dnc, pelosi, and many others before she ticked them off by not letting herself become a puppet. She just a normal person whose beliefs cannot be put in one box. shes done many things i disagree with like voting on a bill to make it harder for refugees to come in the us which contradicts her diplomatic narrative (she seems a bit islamophobic maybe because shes hindu?) but the variance and lack of any plotted pattern by which she chooses her stances makes her way more authentic than anyone else and less likely to backtrack on her beliefs if she becomes pres, while others will say what will attract votes then become a puppet of their sponsors.

      No she should not be president. She wants to give illegal aliens healthcare we don’t even get?? She wants to abolish borders and get back into the Iran deal. Okay terrorists sympathizer. Lord she’s just like Ilhan and AOC. She’s pandering just like the rest of these fools. Yang would of been the most rational pick for the nomination but nbc is shutting him down. Not one of these Dems will beat Trump in 2020.

    The reality is that impeachment will not get rid of trump and we should let the people decide in 2020. I've never heard a more rational response from a Democrat.

      Make sure to vote for her in the primary if you're in an open primary state. We need conservative voters for the boost because she won't play the victim card. I mean she's a woman, Hindi, racial minority, yet nobody mentions any of it because she will only use it as a last resort and only if attacked for hurting someone's fee-fees.

      Bull. Shit.
      1) She ain't a Dem, she is a Russian plant.
      2) The elections were attacked in 2016, which hasn't even been cleared up yet, and they will be attacked far harder in 2020. Nobody can trust they will be fair.

      I would hope that Democrats could do borh, impeach and win an election. The House braggs about passing 150 bills, yet none get passed in Senate. So the argument that it won't get passed by the Senate is a weak argument. Nothing gets passed now. I would rather Trump has the stain of impeachment on his record going into Nov.2020.

      He's broken the law repeatedly and is massively corrupt. Will impeachment get rid of him? Perhaps not. But the point is. You need to hold potus accountable, otherwise they'll have license to do whatever the hell they want. Clinton got impeached. If.that was justified then, its just as justified now

    • @GermanLeftist
      @GermanLeftist Před 5 lety +2

      Sorry, but that is a stupid argument. Trump broke the law. If you let him get away with it you basically say, the president is above the law. There need to be actual consequences for his actions. And while the Republican Senate probably would never convict him, the Democratic House should at least show teeth. But not doing so, they're showing weakness. And that's something the Republicans will abuse. Just look at what happened with the bill to finance the border situation. The House passed a version with requirements what the funds will be used for, the Senate rejected that version and passed one without any requirements. Did Pelosi start negotiations with McConnell about this? No, she immediately passed the Senate version against a huge resistance within her own caucus. Pelosi and the rest of Democratic leadership in the House prove time and time again that they're weak, not just on impeachment, and that is not going to help them generate excitment with voters.
