Been rocking mine for a year. Their warranty is also really good. Only con I have is I keep mine in my back pocket and find it on sometimes. Pros and cons for having an aluminum tail switch
The on off switch is too soft and goes on in your pocket all the time. Mine is in the drawer. I am still looking for a single AA light with a better switch that has a good brightness along with a candle mode.
Completely agree on the button issue. I returned mine because of that. Also, not being able to put in an alkaline aa if needed in a power outage is kind of a dealbreaker. I ended up using my Eagletac D3A a lot more for these reasons. The lumens are less, however in a side by side comparison, the D3A was brighter to my eyes than the Thrunite AND the brightest setting lasts way longer. The Thrunite started dimming right away.
I like the Thrunite W1 better. It's smaller, magnetic tail cap, same pocket clip. I've come to appreciate the side button. I wish it was USB C, but have plenty cords.
great content great review: however I wish they would come up with a similar, but smaller featherweight tactical light. that cost about the same. something small like a penlight with an awesome throw. you would think with modern lighting technologies that tactical lights would be much smaller an lighter
Ordered 4 when you put out the deal alert earlier today. Thank you.
Love your videos. Thank you. This will be the third thing I've bought you suggested.

Have you looked at the Acebeam Pokelit? Not sure if it would work for you but it's a decent light too. 👍🍻
Yes I have a Acebeam Pokelit it's a great little flashlight uses a rechargeable aa battery and comes with the charging cord
