Motorcycle Tour of Wales Episode 6 Llanberis Pass, Pen Y Pass, Ridge of Tryfan & Ogwen Valley

- Continuing on the Snowdonia Discovery Route this episode covers nearly 100 miles more of it.
Riding past the impressive Llyn Gwynant, passing the shark fin ridge of Tryfan and then viewing Lake Ogwen before emerging out and riding through the amazing Ogwen valley.
This episode has so much to see and before long I am riding the Llanberis Pass followed by the Pen - Y - Pass where I am able to see Mount Snowden.
Further down I ride around the massive Llyn Celyn Reservoir before stopping at Bala to take in the lovely sites of Lake Bala. Which is where the final episode will start from.

Hiya Steve, digged in Llanberis a few years ago, about 10 of us on the bikes, had a long weekend there and rode up the Pen-Y-pass a few times, WOW what a road, in fact just about everywhere we went in Wales was fantastic.

We were so lucky all the week we were there to be truthful Brian total contrast from the poor weather you two had when riding the Pen Y Pass. Last episode unfortunately next week my friend. Ride safe the pair of you.
Great watch,had a six night stay in Llamberis 3 weeks ago on my trusty fz1000,absolutely amazing area and the roads are perfect too.
Roads are fantastic aren't they Shaun paired with the scenery makes for biking heaven my friend.

great collection of films steve, slightly biased as these roads around snowdonia are my playground , live in colwyn bay, so 20 minute ride to betws y coed for a brew before riding off, sometimes head towards bala and go into mid wales or barmouth via harlech is a good biking route and of course there is Anglesey again not too far away, glad the weather was superb for you, makes it a perfect riding experience , great footage captured

@@Steve-Clark thanks to watching your tour around interlaken a couple of years ago me and the misses stopped of there on our way back from lake Garda for a couple of nights doing a round trip of grimsal furka and sustans passes love the fact you put all of the road numbers in print on your vids.

Another excellent video Steve, brought back a few memories, camped near Bedgelert in the mid 70's , we were on a visit to Port Merion to visit The Village (massive Prisoner fan) worth a visit if you get up that way. As always cant wait for the next one, Stay safe my mate.

Some good roads there pal. Did you enjoy the Bardney bends today 14.9.21. Saw you out towards Bucknall, pretty sure it was. Some great roads here in Lincs, here's another suggestion if you get chance, Revesby bends. Follow that up with a trip to East Kirkby and the aviation heritage centre where the Lancaster, Just Jane is. Cheers

great vid again mate, what helmet do you use? is it the Shark evo es ? If so how do you find the anti fog visor as I believe you can't use a pin lock
Hi Neil its the Shark Evoline 3 and the anti fog is brilliant fella, a great helmet which I have the chin guard lifted 90% of the time. hope that helps.
You didn't manage to get your drone up. Would have meant even more stunning footage.

It's an old now Drift Ghost S camera but never let me down coupled with an original Drift microphone Ken, hope that helps.

@@tonym480 My grandpa left Wales just after the war and I aim to pay a visit, which is how I came to this video. All Scottish and Welsh people seem to see the British as unwelcome foreigners. Just saying.
We are ALL British Andrew and think you'll find that the Scottish and the Welsh also love riding in the English green and pleasant lands. Look up what countries are in the BRITISH ISLES and ride safe fella wherever you go.
