If you're from the Bay Area, most of us have crossed paths with him many times, and whatever he has going on he always stops to acknowledge his fans, take pics and shake hands with a positive attitude. When I was a kid, while Jerry was still playing, he attending a local card show. As an excited ten year old, getting to meet Jerry Rice was such a huge deal. When I learned the only way to meet Jerry was to pay $200 for an autograph it told me everything I needed to know.
