Evening Fishing Watauga Lake!

- In this video, my son and I take a quick trip one evening, after work, to Watauga Lake. We was able to finally get onto some bass, catching a couple and losing one. Sorry for the darkness at the end of the video. We fished till we couldn't see anymore and decided to wait till we got back to the house to wrap up the video. It was great to get out on the water with my son and put some fish in the boat. I hope you guys enjoy the video and sorry for the big gaps between uploads. We just haven't been able to catch any fish and I have been gone for work quite a bit. Now with spring/summer coming up we are hoping to be more consistent with the uploads. Pop r.. sometimes it works best just to pop it couple times let it sit.. other times they want it walking I thank the pop r produces more bites during shad spawn for myself. Great video. Heading other there tomorrow myself
Thanks for the advice I usually fish a whopper plopper and love the bites it produces but at this moment hasn't done very well so I figures I'd give that a try. Hope you catch some tomorrow.
@@2dudesfishing718 just seen post from over there today looks like it got ton of rain. So I may go down mtn. Lol. Yeah I'm whopper plopper guy. I have had couple swipe at it this year normally dont do really good on it till gets mid 70s temps. Good luck can't wait see next video

New subscriber.... just moved to Johnson city july 1st been fishing watauga last couple days and it's been rough water temp is low 80s..
We should hook up and go fishing.. p.s. I have same exact boat. 40th year edition so far I love it.. tight lines and congrats to your boy on that smallie.. as of now I have never caught a smallie
