  • A long overdue update on how I've been finding working at a big 4 firm in London - what I've been up to on the project front, work-life balance and how interesting (or not) the work has been. If you have any questions or topics you might want me to talk about next as always let me now in the comments đŸ€“
    Much love,
    Anastasia xx

Hi Anastasia, I applied to all big 4 and even made it to the final round and got rejected. Is it worth reapplying again and again?

Hey Haley, thanks so much for taking the time to comment and also well done on making it to the final round, that’s amazing! I’d say that I f you’re very keen on big 4 it could be worth giving it another go (and I do know people who got in on second try) but equally I think there are a ton of other great companies to consider! For example, if you want to go a bit more focused on tech Accenture are an amazing option, if on energy sector Baringa could be a great choice. It’s a very tricky job market at the moment with lots of companies reducing numbers of new joiners of doing hiring freezes altogether so very often not making it to the job offer is completely down to circumstance and not at all a reflection on your skills (I’m sure you’re great!). So I think don’t put all eggs in one (big 4) basket but also doesn’t hurt to apply again alongside other options. I really hope it all works out for you and wishing you best of luck! ❀

@@AnastasiaKrokhina thanks so so much for your advice! The market it definitely tough right now. I’m looking at work in Australia so it’s a bit different but you’re right, there are many opportunities elsewhere to! I think I’ll reapply and reapply for the big 4 while I can, as I want to be a consultant but I’m hoping anything I do will be something I’m passionate about. Thanks so much for your encouragement, I truly appreciate it. Looking forward to more videos from you and your inspiring journey!
