Shikamaru and Sokka would be great friends, both start off as a bit sexist (though Sokka slightly more bc at first he's convinced that girls can't fight) and they end up changing their ways and become master strategists, leaders and loyal friends to the main character.

Calling her trash and etc, then there is Hinata who lost in both of her major fight, and there is Ino who barely do anything in the story of Akatsuki Suppression Arc against Hidan and Kakuzu instead only cry for Asuma, and do you even see Temari trying to do anything in Kazekage rescue arc? The most who did in that arc is Kankuro and Temari were staying and watch the entire time
