In the 1970s, young Greg Laurie (Joel Courtney) is searching for all the right things in all the wrong places: until he meets Lonnie Frisbee (Jonathan Roumie), a charismatic hippie-street-preacher. Just took 12 people to see this beautiful film, not a dry eye in the theater, my friends wept and gave there life to Christ right in the parking lot...Glory to God

Even Lonnie backslid in a major way after this all took place. It's why everyone keeps badmouthing his legacy online. But there's one thing they won't say.
On his deathbed, he still came back, ready to preach all over again despite being emaciated, in pain and dying of AIDS. He was sick, but he still wanted to heal others. And that is worthy of a portrayal by someone as talented as Jonathan Roumie.

Praise God for this movie, it's has been a long untold story on the national scene with how much God did and does today with Calvary Chapel. Pastor Chuck was so humble after this and he always just taught God's word. I still listen to his walk through the bible series. One of the many sayings he had stuck with me - "Where God guides, he provides".
Amen. In addition, Pastor Chuck was incredibly wise.
They forgot to show Lonnie passing out LSD and everyone staring at Chuck's Catholic icons to get divine revelation. I'm betting they left out all of the fornication that marked that satanic/CIA psyop movement too.
His sermons are amazingly relevant. He’s gone but the message lives on. What a calling!

My 14 year old daughter Grace accepted Jesus Christ into her heart after watching this movie. I haven't done a good job at exposing my daughter to the Gospel. But this movie opened a door and God 🙏 gave me the words. We read sinner's prayer together and I wanted that for my daughter for a while. I be open to any advice one would like to give to help further my daughters relationship with God.
That is so awesome! I would say trust the leading of the Holy Spirit, communicate daily to God in prayer, read the bible daily, and try to find a church or small group where you can fellowship with other followers of Christ. Finally, and of extreme importance never let any one or anything get in the way of you and your savior Jesus. Hurts and hardships will come, even from other Chrstians sometimes, but just remember Jesus will not forsake you or leave you. Do what is right, tell others about Jesus, and remain faithful.
What a blessing! Such great news! Just encourage her as best you can.... In the tough times remind her that God is rich in Mercy and abounding in Lovingkindness and Compassion..Psalms 🙌🙌🙏🙏

Alex, a friend of mine just sent me this trailor while I was outside playing with kids. After watching this trailor I was speechless and completely overwhelmed, because that is EXACTLY what I and our small "Upper Room" group experiencing now. This week More of Them are invited by someone going to come our house and I want to say no, it's enough, enough. We have limited time, energy, and all of the things are limited, kids need to sleep early... Sorry of my English, I can't express complicated things very well, but if you want to know what I'm saying, watch the trailor. I was like Chuck, my wife is like his wife, exactly.
Alex and his wife has been chanllging us to open our house for "More of Them", but I and my wife was somehow reluctant. We have enough logical and cultral reasons to keep our home a privacy place, but Alex though if God want to use this house you should open it and consecration my house for Jesus people. We are stirred a lot. I'm crying... Is God going to start a revolution from my home?

What I liked best about “Jesus Revolution” was that it showed how the hippie movement made church more casual. It really made me see how Christianity ✝️ really made its way across the United States 🇺🇸. I went to see it with friends earlier this year, it was between this one and another. It’s nice to know that this was the choice which won.

i've got a hippie story ,or a hoppie hippie story [they're the one that don't wear thongs on their feet and walk into a patch of bindi's] was in cairns ,oz ,many years ago with some german backpackers , we were sitting down at the bench and put our pizza down on the table and this hippie parked himself opposite us and attacked our pizza and had it about half down before we pulled him up .we were so shocked .can laugh about iit know but couldn't then .and he seemed rather affronted that we had difficulty sharing .i don't think his meditations had been working out to well

I just googled Lonnie Frisbee, I didn't know anything about him. Did you know that he was gay and died from AIDS? I find it interesting. There's nothing wrong with that as far as I'm concerned, I don't believe homosexuality is a sin, but it's very curious
