With 120W of power, including a fantastic 60W integrated bass, this device puts out enough sound to fill a gymnasium or cover an entire section of the beach. Got a dock? This'll bring the party. I wanted to buy it. But no usbc was a deal breaker for me. Still rocking the monster adventurer max

How does this stack up against the jbl boombox 3? Which one is better?

I'd say they're comparable in sound so you'll want to compare specs and weight.

With any manufacturer battery time claim, cut that number in half
Pound for pound the best mid range speaker on the market is the Tribit Stormbox Blast
Buy two Tribits and you'll get 16 hours of 180 watts, loud, clear, pumping bass party club sound in stereo. It's a fantastic speaker especially when paired in two
All this for the price of one Monster blaster or for $150 less than one BB3

Totally depends on how loud you play the speaker, as I'm sure you know.

The price tag makes it a go for me, JBL was just overpriced at this point. What do you say this new version sound better than the previous? I used to have the older model and it was pretty good.

I never had a chance to audition the Blaster 2.0 so can't compare, but it definitely has a big, solid sound. I'll still take my audiophile speakers if I'm in a suitable setting, but for on the dock, at the park, a party at the beach, this is a pretty sweet unit!
