Berlanga has done nothing to earn a fight with Canelo, but because Canelo likes to take the path of least resistance, Berlanga has a very good chance of getting the fight. The biggest obstacle would be Berlanga's lack of readiness for the fight and his lack of PPV drawing power. There is no way PBC could pay Canelo the reported $35 million to fight Berlanga. PPV sales could not support it.
David Morrell is an excellent choice for Edgar Belonga. Let us be honest, he knows what time it is.
