I’m currently planning switching my auto rsx to manual but keep the A3 do I need the base manual
You can use any k series trans but your best bet and my personal favorite is the 5 speed. 6 speeds are more expensive too I'm pretty sure. I'd get a 5 speed
Hey.
what are the best websites to buy stuff for the RSX?
Depends what your looking for. Everything I buy for almost every car is a mix between rock auto (for stuff like brakes), ebay (rare used parts), hondapartsonline (oem honda parts that are still sold)
I have a 13’ civic and man, I’d love to have an RSX haha maybe one day.
RSX's are definitely nice cars man. You wouldn't regret getting one. Without a doubt an upgrade from a civic interior and exterior wise in my personal opinion 🔥
I bought a 05 Type S last year from my uncle for $4,500 as my first car. While I plan to modify it, I need to focus on getting through college first and save the fun for afterward. So far, it’s only required basic maintenance, with no significant issues. I'm wondering if heavily modifying it will affect its reliability.
Honestly heavily modifying anything will affect reliability. These cars heavily modified have stood the test of time. Unopened never touched k series's with over 100k miles can make 600hp for years where as other cars and engines just can't take the same beating and require a lot more engine modifications to make the power safely
I think if you want to modify and stay reliable the best way to go about it is to just go the OEM+ route. Maybe add an exhaust, intake, update the brakes + brake fluid, and I’d love to say some coil overs but the suspension geometry on these cars does not like to be lowered less than an inch or so without messing up the geometry of it. Still you could add a thicker sway bar and a strut bar do a handful of other things and it’d still a nice daily.
Should you buy and mod a Rsx in 2024.. well being a previous owner of an 02 rsx I would say hell yeah!! And I just picked up a 2013 manual cr-z yesterday which I plan on keeping swapping in the future (I told you I would) I heard that the crz dash setup reminds you of the rsx dash and I can see exactly what they were talking about! Quite similar.
What’s that phone holder???
I feel like someone asks this everytime I make a video with the silver rsx😂. It's a scosche magnet phone mount. Got mine from Amazon and fits perfect on the double din
no hate but why you gotta make it a quick release?
I agree i dont like the quick release either. Original owner put it in and cut a bunch of the harness for the airbag and for the cruise control. So unfortunatley it wasnt worth the money buying a new harness to put the factory wheel back in. I prefer the factory wheel but it is what it is sometimes.
@@illusiversx damn that’s just unfortunate asf, the original steering wheel looks great. big ups tho man looks nice
I love that you are posting bro. We both gonna make it! Keep up the great work.
Appreciate it man hope you keep up the grind❤️🤟
