      I can answer that
Director : Jeremy your an award winning actor so my movie will HAVE to be good if your in it
Irons : only if I get to wear silly clothes with capes and over act as much as humanly possible
      Director: uuuuhhh that depends
Irons: I wanna go ha ta ta ta
Director : BUT YOUR A RESPECTED ACTOR
      Irons :ha...ta...ta...ta
Director :fine it's not like this movie was gonna be good anyway

Come on Critic. This movie was a master piece. It had everything a good party for DnD should have.
The normal RPG player, who wants to be the underdog hero.
The nerdy RPG Player who is always going by the numbers and plays mage.
The new guy, whose getting on everybodys nerves.
The guy, who only joined the party to drink for free at a friends house.
The smirky and mysterious dude, who always tries to insert his own ideas and disrupts the DM.
The bored girlfriend who got dragged along and has to fill in for a missing player.
The guy who tries to act cool but ends up being strange and dry.
And finally the guy who has to overplay the crazy villain.
Everthing is here. From the half-assed story, over the clicheed players, to the "players are to bad, insert confiniend plot device too drag out an obviously lost game" DM actions. Its brilliant. ^^

This is brilliant if you see it as an actual group of new players playing their first round of actual d&d. Just look at it, the cheesy dialogue, the cardboard cutout characters that seem like they belong into a different movie, the over the topness of it all...It captures the essence of unskilled, unexperienced players that got to make their first own characters being railroaded like thoma the tank engine on a generic out-of-the-book-adventure, complete with badly copied riddles and traps from movies the DM has recently seen. It's spot on, and absolute gold :D

Sure, it's painful at times but still entertaining. Also, underracting can feel quite out of place and hers makes her character quite pathetic and uninspired. She's supposed to be a ruler with strong values and presence but she stumbles on her words, her inflexions are weird and all... Well, she's not Jeremy Irons entertaining but still. Resting my case!

To be fair... I think that the overactive is WANTED in this film XD it's so spread out that it's impossible that was entirely accidental. D&D it's not meant to be taken seriously after all... and I think that this film follows that line, the so called "rule number 0: you are here for the fun". And this movie IS fun, cheesy and all.. just like a game of D&D with friends, one of the less serious anyway. It's good to just decide to f*** around once in a while, after all. Not every fantasy needs to be Lotr after all.
Plus, EVERY actor is a cliché of the pg and npg of the game XP Since, again, this is taken as a D&D game made film, the personality are made in the same way.

This is exactly why i do not agree with Critic about this movie. The movies was basically made by D&D nerds FOR D&D nerds. Of course it's weird and looks bad. If he ever sat through a honest to god campaign he would see WHY the movie is this way. It just like a D&D campaign and I have been playing D&D for over 18-19 years years. Sometimes your players will derail a story, sometimes the DM has to make shit up on the fly. Sometimes shit just goes nuts because of magic, because magic is fucking nuts in the D&D world (AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON MAGIC OF THE FAE. JESUS @_@).

He can't. Becuase, you know, that's a good movie. So no point in reviewing it ;)

This movie looks even more like a parody film after the new DnD movie improved on this trainwreck in pretty much every way possible.

I remember watching this movie in theaters! Oh man, this review had me laughing-! This was beautiful. Thank you for letting me experience this movie one more time, but with more entertainment value than ever.
I just have to pat you on the back for sprinkling so much wit into making fun of this movie.
