Normani's performance was amazing. The sound quality could have been better, but that wasn't her fault. It would have put the performance on top tier. The choreography and creative direction of the video itself are excellent and award worthy. The track itself is beautiful!! Part of sabotage is leaving words unspoken that SHOULD BE spoken. The creative concept of Wild Side, as a whole, is poetic, colorful, classy and super sensual. Everything about it is on point. Even THIS arrangement is 💯💯💯!!!
Yo they were supposed to have SICKENING visuals at the VMAs but there was technical difficulties so they had to go for a white and red background. There was supposed to be a reflection of her and each and every backup dancer behind them like a mirror doing every dance
@@RIDWYER I wouldn't quite use that word sickening juxtaposed with the VMAs or with that particular performance because it negates the frequency and that's how they curse things here through words. Remove the Divine frequency from the curse of words within a particular language.
Its crazy to think she's in the exact place during the first show. A new song out thats barely getting any radio play or live performances. She should be bigger by now.

I worked as an office assistant for this show and I remember sitting in our office adjacent to where this was shot and watching on the monitor all the magic Normani was bringing- I was in AWE. She's an incredible performer.

@@sillau9A show like this takes months of preparation and then we literally shot only 4 days (end of Aug to early sept). With that said, everything was in order and pretty much smooth sailing. But yeah, sooooome hectic moments 😆. It was fun! I’m a huge Cindy Crawford and Erykah Badu fan so I was in heaven.

I love the dynamics in this performance. It starts of simple and clean and hyper focused on normani, then as the dancers join in and the song picks up it becomes this intricate masterpiece with so many moving parts. it kind of changes the landscape of the song from that sexy hip hop, to a more sensual R&B bedroom bop. The vma performance could’ve used the dynamics that this one had but it was still fire. I’m excited to see where else she can take this song. And mamas is BEAUTIFUL.
