No. No. It is too fast. In the very beginning, you should have an impression that the music is going to degenerate into something like one of Szostakowicz's waltzes. *And only when you are overwhelmed* by that impression, that it is all going to end in mud, the music should stand up, gather its strength and wings, and explode into a triumphant fly. This cannot be achieved if you play too fast. It's like playing Dvorak's Furiant of the Slavonic Dances (op. 46 No. 1) too slow (which is all too common).
