Wilka Roig, president of Fundación Elisabeth Kübler-Ross México Centro, talks with Aditi Sethi, co-protagonist of the documentary The Last Ecstatic Days, and founder and director of the Center for Conscious Living and Dying in Asheville, North Carolina, about the call and the mission to the work of compassionate accompaniment and the work of end-of-life Doula.
The documentary The Last Ecstatic Days explores the physical, emotional and psychological journey of a man's desire not to die alone, and the Hospice doctor who drops everything to honor that last wish.
The EKR México Centro Foundation is a non-profit, non-governmental organization based in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, which is dedicated to offering free in-person and virtual accompaniment services, and awareness and sensitization programs around the topics of loss, grief, end of life, and green burials for ecological restoration.
The EKR México Centro Foundation has the honor of leading the national tour to present the documentary The Last Ecstatic Days, being the organization chosen by its director, filmmaker Scott Kirschenbaum, for its presentation.
