I hope Mazars will be standing in line for justice also. I realize how difficult it is to prove intent, however, Mazars had all the information from the beginning. It doesn't matter whether the info provided by Trump and Co. was true or not, the accountants had the numbers that were used to do tax returns. It's well known and documented that Trump inflated and deflated assets, and this would have been shown on tax returns. At some point, the numbers given to Mazars would conflict with earlier numbers, and they had a duty THEN to investigate and attempt to reconcile the numbers. They didn't. They waited until the heat was turned up full blast and no doubt they are feeling it and THEN made the decision to try to extricate themselves. You're a day late and a dollar short, Mazars. It is concerning that Mazar's mentions "not material" "errors or misstatements" because that is accounting speak for it is not that important or that significant. By way of an example, in a multi billion dollar company, a 20 million dollar error is a rounding mistake and not material or significant out of billions. So while 20 million is plenty to you or me, it is not significant when talking about billions. Strange, but true in accounting speak.

@@sittingstill3578 he allegedly defrauded lenders by overstating the value of properties while understating it to the IRS. The discrepancies are what sparked the investigation - at least one number has to be false, so he either cheated the lenders or the IRS. Both cant be right and Mazar seems to agree, otherwise they could not be of the opinion that the data they were provided by trump org was "unreliable". Assuming he - at one point - paid at least the correct amount of taxes does not necessarily cover the entire period in question to begin with and it bolsters the claim that he lied to lenders, i.e. defrauded them. And as a side note, if you were to lie to the IRS in one out of 10 years, you would still not be off the hook for that one year even if you net overpaid taxes. If intent can be proven, its a crime. The investigation is running its course and if there is something to the allegations, there will be an indictment.

@@onlyyou725 Actually yes, I have checked into the Durham probe and I found, just as most experts have found, that it not only violates the constitutional clause against politically motivated investigations, but it is vague enough to be useful as politically motivated fodder for propaganda outlets associated with Rupert Murdoch. This include the Fox propaganda outlets. John Durham is likely one of those men who are dangling on the chain of blackmail by Trumpty Dumpty, probably as a result of his association with Jeffrey Epstein.
There have been three indictments filed. One got probation, and that was likely a result of Durham promising them probation if they would lie for him. Two others, Sussman and Danchenko, have yet to stand trial but both have plead not guilty to charges. What were they charged with? Lying to the FBI about the identity or status of people from whom they claimed to have gotten information, but NOT ABOUT THE INFORMATION ITSELF! So, in other words, if they forget the proper spelling or pronunciation of a name and used what they remembered incorrectly when they spoke to the FBI about things regarding the Trump Organization and Russia, then THAT is what Durham has charged them with. He has NOT charged them with lying about the information, however!
So your Durham report is not what you think it is. It is vague, empty, and in no way manages to throw enough logical questions about the Mueller investigation to make that nest egg of Trump's crimes go away. Remember, Mueller did not exonerate Trumpty Dumpty... he just was not in a position to charge him with anything since Trumpty was the president. And only Congress can indict the President. Which they did. It's called impeachment. Then Moscow Mitch slid and slithered his way around having to have an actual trial of Dumpy Donny, thus saving his hide from conviction. Dumpy Donny owes Moscow Mitch a big favor... which he will never repay, because he doesn't pay any of his debts.

Hundred 's of millions in tax evasion from one Mazars client, and they work'n 90 countries. The Ireland, South African, and Chinese firms are quite interesting.

Trump had a victorious weekend. I'm not a Trump fan. I don't want him to run, but MSNBC is a joke. They're distracting you from the biggest campaign scandal since Watergate.

@joe dough In truth, it's only about a third of voting adults who are still trumpublican cultists. And that number is shrinking, as those who have any sanity left are attaching their sights to other republicans. It takes a serious amount of insanity to continue to be a trumpublican cultist after ALL that has happened. Or, one might be a paid troll. Which are you, Joe?

@Phuc Hong the amount of money Trump spends on lawyers says everything. In the end, they got Al Capone on tax evasion, despite all the evidence he was (like Trump) guilty of innumerable crimes.

@@drewpknutz1410 Trump's lawyers had legal cases against the IRS to keep them from divulging any information until after the election, at which point he simply ordered them not to and they - because they had to - obeyed. He was the HEAD of our GOVERNMENT, and thus he was immune to any prosecution except that of the Congress! And Moscow Mitch McConnell, who has been a Russian asset for many years, shielded him from that rightful prosecution. Now, he is no longer President and no longer immune from prosecution. Now the IRS can act, but they are cooperating with other prosecutors to build the various cases air tight. You start with the unpaid traffic tickets and work your way up to the tax evasion and perjury and RICO statutes. Oh, and the TREASON.
