Love the part where Jon talks about not doing commentary because it would give his opponents an idea of how he thinks. That is super deep and tactically minded. True champion.
Some men have a self destructive gene. I am not trying to compare myself to Jon (although my name is Jon lol) cause he’s a world champion athlete. But I have a great life and every time I reach a peak I somehow enter this self destructive phase. The last battle I had was with cocaine. I never enjoyed anything about the drug, and it was destroying my life, but for some reason I kept doing it. Hard to explain but just saying I can relate to a guy like Jon who has it all, and something deep inside him aches to ruin it all
I can’t believe I’m listening to Steve O talk about health and safety measures twenty years after I saw him shove a Hook in his mouth like a damn fish.
When i was 18 I watched him staple his nutsack to his thigh and have a fireball shot off his head live. I got him to sign my DVD cover in his own blood and right after he hit me in the nuts. 15 or so years later I've grown up and so has he, and it's wonderful to see him so happy and healthy and still having adventures. Look at Bam and see what he could have become.
He seems like a legitimately cool guy when in a comfortable atmosphere with people he likes. This interview has changed my perception of him a little bit
Couldn’t agree more. After I saw him on Rogan’s podcast … That *completely* changed the way I thought of him. I could always tell, just from how he fights, that he’s smart/has a high “Fight IQ”; But I didn’t realize that he’s legitimately, _extremely_ intelligent. He’s also really articulate/well-spoken, thoughtful, analytical, etc. He definitely doesn’t have the kind of personality that you would expect, after all the things that he’s been involved in. It seems like *A LOT* of the best fighters are intelligent. Adesanya, Yan, Poirier, Volkanovski, Moreno, Gane, Whittaker, Edwards, Cormier, Khabib, DJ, GSP, Aldo, Fedor, Cro Cop, Cruz, Conor, Mir, … They’re all intelligent. And you can tell-even if you only see them fight, and never actually heard them speak outside of that. Even boxers-seem the same: Ali, Tyson, Mayweather, Leonard, Robinson, Klitschko, Manny, Ward, Bradley, Foreman, Hopkins, Lewis, Lomachenko, Inoue, Spence, Marquez, Usyk, Algieri … They all seem like they’re intelligent. I never in a million years would’ve thought Tyson was anything other than an absolute moron; But after listening to him in interviews, watching his documentary, etc. etc… He’s actually really thoughtful/philosophical to the point that I was kind of shocked.

Such a humble dude man absolutely enjoyed this episode I never really watched anything other than him completely destroying fighters and this brought a new light to Jones to me and it was awesome dudes!!!!! 🤘
Podcast legendado 🤪🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Steve-O must've read the comment that said his hair looks like a mixture of Beavis and Butthead's. Now he just looks like Beavis.
Wack af
Beavis rules
Very cool to see this side of Jon. I’ve never been much of a fan of his but this interview definitely helped me find an appreciation for him as a person. Nice job Steve-O.
Thankyu for having the goat here 🔥🔥🔥
steve-o should get the celebs to sign his van, be worth loads when selling.
Sign and clear coat over them to protect it. Or something to make it last. That's a super cool idea, man! I hope that thought gets to him and he starts it out
Then give the money to masvidal so he defends his BMF belt
Lmao
@Nicholas Bacardi na that's your POV. But people do pay a lot for genuine signed goods
@Name yeah thats why people line up to get signatures from celebrities and often pay for them as well yeah?
Jon is the man. I have a lot of respect for him and I can’t wait to see what he’s going to do next inside the Octagon! :)
I was able to pull so much from this conversation. Thank you.
Good to see you so positive John. And props to Stevo for being a good friend !
Jon Jones could walk on Amazon’s “The Boys” as Jon Jones
I like this chill JJ. Steveo is good for public Jon Jones
Yeah dude! Awesome conversation. All love and respect to you both 🙏
Love the content steve-o! i almost finished all your episodes in 1 day at work today! haha
Jon seems like a great guy who had a rought time which was in the public eye and he is being judged on that low all the time.
Respect for the man!
This was such a good podcast!
I love it how jon is just chilling with the dog. And him and Steve-o are just vibing that third guy get him the hell out of there. Fire came in the eyes late with Johnny and I love the hard fan questions that Steve-O dropped I'm a big fan to great questions Steve-O
Steve O and Jon Jones is the friendship I never knew I needed
I like how Steve-o is trying harder to get Jones back more than Dana is 🤦♂️
Steve I doesn’t pay him
SteveO your gonna lose wendy to jj! Haha
I just wish jon Jones would stop making me like him.
He doesn't make people like him, he's just a likeable dude.
Hes the opposite to a nice dude 🤣🤣 hes a legit sociopath who manages to fool people like you, I'd say people are manipulating yee on a regular basis hahaha
He's a master manipulator. Sociopaths are charming.
There’s a difference between being a likeable dude having a likeable personality and a ton of charisma to making terrible choices in life
wow youre easily manipulated
Agora com legendas!
Thanks for portuguese subtitles
Damned! This guy is so well spoken and I love him ... I am a fan
Steve O, you got a great interview from Jon Jones. I respect the podcast. I'm a stay at home dad, and this got me through doing dishes before the wife gets home today. I got to pretend I was hanging with you guys lol.
Big fan of Jon Jones and his brothers in the NFL as they come from my hometown Endicott NY!! Broome County represent!
This is incredible. Great, great interview. Awesome 👏🏼 🐐
Jon Jones is so wholesome and genuine, thank you for this
Jon Jones is one of the least genuine people on earth. What have u been smoking. I love him as a fighter but he is a full on sociopath. If cameras are rolling and he's sober he is the opposite of genuine. After choking Machida brutally his coach tells him basically go pretend to care people are watching lol. He comes across genuine here but come on wholesome lmao. He's one of the dirtiest fighters ever steroids and in the ring eye pokes oblique kicks etc and a known coke fuelled woman beater. Food banks and protect the local community shit he's one calculating dude. I guarantee he has some p.r telling him how to act like a human lol. Sorry but your.comment triggered me those two words and Jon Jones in the same.sentence are ridiculous. If u hadn't said thank u I would've smiled at your sarcasm . I can't ever believe he believes what he's saying lol
@@paulcullen7794 please explain more
I think I've made my point the guy will lie and cheat whenever he.has.to .his court appearance s were so disingenuous aswell as all his bullshit apologies
.He's still one.of.the goats anyway.
@@paulcullen7794 I don't get it
@@paulcullen7794 Paul where'd you go?
I can’t wait for Steve-O’s sasquatch suit to be done 😂😂
I read this as soon as that part came up 😆
Mountain biking is so much fun! Stoked to hear Jon Jones does it for cross training.
Jon Jones... that was absolutely beautiful to hear you with such an honest and authentic perception of D.C. Courageous is what it was. Run with the humbled you.
I remember watching the first ufc. It came out and I was like 9 years old watching it at a babysitter house...🤣
*SETS HIS SKULL ON FIRE OVER 5000 TIMES*
still has hair at 50...
I get what you're saying, but Steve-O is 46. Don't do your mans like that :P
@@AdamTWHS Sorry for being 4 years off with a stoned guess

@@Ryan-ez6mt Good one, bro.
This was really wholesome. Amazing podcast!
We've all made mistakes and Jon is just like all of us. This was a great interview and Steve-O having some common ground with him, made this so much better allowing JJs to open up and I always respected his fight skill, but really respect him even more as a man. I will continue to wish him the best. He's not the villian everyone makes him out to be
'' yeah fuck your questions go ahead '' no matter how much you hate Jon jones, you gotta appreciate him for going with the flow and going with whatever the other part wants to talk about ( even though i fell like stevo-o should have seen that and should have asked further )
+ u can't even express how much I appreciate Steve-o I'm so down on myself all the time, get depressed so easily, hell, i can lie to myself and make me want to kill myself. I'm sorry to anyone who read this, but seeing someone else being so selfless makes me want to live a bit longer and be happy for other people
Jones shadow looks like hes rocking a pony tail/ mullet.
Lmao I noticed that too , but I was like ahh it's the lighting
The new bone thug member, Jonny Bone
Aura
If he just had a big rats tail down his back like Tong Po that would be so dope.
after i read that i saw it and started laughing
I love John Jones on here talking to Steve O, it is awesome for sure. They talk about shit John probably wouldn't talk about to other interviewers!! Love John to death he is so cool and badass to!! 👀👍👍👍👍
This was a really interesting and entertaining podcast, thank you!
Why every time I do cocaine, CZcams recommends a video about Jon Jones???
hahaha so damn right
So you can learn from Jones’ self destruction due to the drug and better yourself.
Jack Frost where you from
@@JohnWick-tv2io trynna score some internet blow? lmao
@@DJ-JT JJ is the goat.
I’ve always been a fan of this guy, I don’t care about his problems. I’ve had plenty of hiccups in my life as well, people are allowed to make mistakes and grow up. Keep doing you Bones, much love.
Exactly my thoughts as well.
The problem is he’ll never change nor grow up. If he was going to, hitting a pregnant women with a car would’ve been the turning point
Bashing your wife isn't a hiccup

100% agree about respect for fighters (not bcuz I care they can whoop my ass but bcuz they dedicate their lives to this craft & risk so much to fight & it takes a lot of balls & a lot of work to do).
