  • One of the most severely hit zones of the 2021 floods of British Columbia is reopening to traffic in Abbotsford. A drive-around montage of dashcam images shows utter devastation in the Yarrow neighborhood of Abby. As of yesterday Tuesday December 7th when the images were captured, some fields remain flooded while others have started to dry out. A large amount of debris like plastic crates, plastic tubing and anything else that floats is now laying in ditches along roadways. A sad scene unveils as one rides along these roads where just a few residents are spotted tending to clean up and evaluate the damage.

UPDATE: the bill for the WHOLE bloody thing shd b sent to the state of washington as it was THEIR river dike that broke and sent this whole WALL of water into canada; WASNT the rain in canada that did it! its THEIR responsibility to maintain their waterways and dike systems and they FAILED...the wall of water from their dike breach flowed into canada (the border station didnt even get a chance to check its vx pport status as it roared past the sumas border station!) and WRECKED everything in the sumas plain, all the crops, all the farm animals kkilled, all the barns flooded, all the houses destroyed (from the inevitable mould) and all the feed storage, hay, grain etc. and the value of one years worth of crops so the whole bill needs to be sent to washington state. the rain that fell on the sumas valley plain likely only contributed 10% to the flooding.

I wrote a comment to another B.C. flood video on You Tube and it simply said "and rainfall did this ?" and people answered "yes"...you're the first person I've seen that's talked about U.S. involvement and their lack of accountability.

Hahaha, "along on the roads of the apocalypse." I would gladly compose music for this video but it's just not apocalyptic enough. All kidding aside, the water levels appear far less than before but still seems to be taking quite a while to fully recede I guess? It is very sad what has happened from all the flooding. I wouldn't want to stick around for any more of such destruction and would move out. But I'm guessing many won't be able to move as they have so much invested into their homes/land.

This Flood of 2021 May very well have been worse than the Flood of 1975 ...Then and now comparison...More People more Farmers more Livestock and intensive 🧺 Farming....The Sumas Prairie aka(Sumas Lake)before the Engineering Marvel a Century ago...then and now Life goes on and just like we all had to pitch in to clean up and Restore our Lands after Nature's Fury..C'est La Vie!It is life......

That water came from 4"s of rain ? The USA had a breech and exported H2O ,,,, thanks little Joe ! If the states would stop spending one trillion on war yearly, and fixed shit ,, all would be better. ❤️❤️🌎❤️❤️
