In this storyline, the player must finally contend with the so-called “Order of Night” while also facing attacks from both the kobyss and nerubians. Usually, I struggle to focus when reading quest text (Blame it on my ADD) and after 10-15 min of reading quests, I give up and just follow the marker. This makes for a much more accessible & immersive experience.

So happy I can help! 🥺 I was definitely thinking about people who wanted to experience the story but didn't want to play through it (or wanted to rush through it to endgame like right when the expansion comes out) when I started doing this and I'm so happy knowing it's definitely serving a purpose!
Agree. Sometimes there is so much pressure to gear up (or just fomo). Plus all four zones can be a bit overwhelming. Watching these gives a little primer so I can go into the expansion on better footing.
Crackpot theory: Just as forces of the void try to twist a titan soul into a purple yarn ball, powers of the light try to actively protect and nurture it. And the light actually got to Azeroth first and managed to create a protective crystalline shell around its heart before old gods got here.
Epic quality crackpot theory: Xalatath was the very first agent of the void, got her ass kicked by windchimes, and then spent untold millenia watching the light building the shell, old gods arriving, titans doing their thing, etc.
Oh I LOVE this, it would explain why it looks the way it does in the dungeon mural too (with gold encased around a pink/purple center).

What if Sargeras missed his true target?
We know he built the Burning Legion to purge the Universe of life, so that the Voidlords can not corrupt a Worldsoul. I assume he knew, that Lightentities could fall to the Void and become Voidentities. That means the Crystal, which looks a lot ike a Naaru Core, would in his eyes be a Hazard and needs to be destroyed. Due to the Titans Interference he missed but weakened the Lightentitiy to a state where it began to fall into the void.
Yes!! I think someone I talked to said the Chamber of the Heart may not have literally been where her heart was, but a transportation pad to go deeper down to it. I really do wonder if Khaz Algar is intentionally close to Kalimdor / Silithus because of that, because it was what Sargeras was aiming deeper for.
@@Ishura The platform on which the Heart Forge stands does look like the Elevators in other Titan Facilities. And didn't Blizz during Blizzcon say the Coreway leads to the World Soul? That would be the better entry point for a blade if you want to stab it. And it would get rid of the Crystal in the same time.
So Knaifu is interested in the player character in addition to Alleria. This is a good sign.
Theory: If one was to play a human spriest for legion, Xal'atath would effectively be wielded by someone descended from a combination of titan and void influences. She would then, alongside this person, defeat Argus the Unmaker. So her plan may be to infuse Azeroth (whose already been getting titan energies) with void powers to "create" the most powerful cosmic master. In which case her loyalties to the void lords might be called into question.
Oooh that's an interesting thought, someone did point out to me the other day that Xal'atath might not be a bad guy and I couldn't wrap my head around it but... conceptually, if she's trying to take over from the void lords, she could strike an uneasy alliance with us later on and keep out of our business!
@@Ishura I am a merely a simp for best girl. But looking at the factors: she's probably the most popular character featured in TWW, she's barely killed anyone (I doubt Khadgar dies off screen with no body shown), and she tends to disappoint those that expect the world from her.
im a little confused why alleria knows about dar'khan drathir. i mean he was obviously around before she left for draenor but she wasnt present during his betrayal. she did read through his work in the void elf allied race questline but that hardly explains why aelric "reminds her" of him, given it's clearly meant in a very negative way
Sylvanas said, she never trusted him even when she was alive before the betrayal perhaps maybe she shared that opinion with Alleria?
