    Thank You, I was able to check whether everything was compatible as the video played and in that 10:09 minute's the answer is, "Yes" my motherboard is compatible with my CPU, GPU, RAM and will fit into my case! VERY Helpful!

    I upgraded my Gateway DX4860-UB33P CPU from i5-2320 to i7-2700K. Checking performance with USERBENCHMARK, it shows that my old CPU is way better. I was told that my i7 CPU may not be compatible to my chipset. Would my computer still work if they were not compatible?

    I'm a bit of a newbie when understanding computer parts.. If I was handed a motherboard & had to find the minimum processor it was compatible with, how old am i able to go?
    Like Windows 10 probably wouldn't run too well on a Pentium processor, if you know what i mean?

    hey when i put the ryzen 5 5600 in pc part picker with the Gigabyte B550 AORUS MASTER ATX AM4 Motherboard and it says its not compatible but when I go to gigabytes website is says the motherboard is compadible with the amd 5000 series any help??

    There is so low little information ( and what info we are given is typically contradictory) about bios compatibility that I think it's mostly done through trial and error. You won't know what bios version your motherboard comes and even visual inspection can sometimes not identify it. Some updates are backwards compatible some are not. CPU support lists can contradict statements about compatibility. Even that chart at 1:43 contradicts most B550 support lists.

    will intel motherboard support ARM CPU? I don't know electronics, but think if ARM less power hungry , and I use it for just documents reading and browsing ( no games or video editing or CAD). Then my laptop battery last long and generate less heat

    And what if mobo support evrything and frequency, but still its not on supported list for particular memory. For example H310m-A is, but H310m-R isnt. Both ddr4 up to 2666mhz

      it should say what kind it needs for older ones it’s usually ddr3 if it’s newer it’s ddr4 just google the motherboard name and see

    When trying to pair a case with a motherboard apart from the size (Atx etc) shouldnt the USB ports also be the same?
    For example I am trying to pair a motherboard with 2 × 2.0 and 4 × 3.2 USB ports. Are those supposed to match exactly with a case? Thanks a lot, very helpful video !

      Yes they have to match if you want your life to be easy then go on pc part picker it automatically choses the compatible case and motherboard
