As a dental anesthesiologist, I find vitamin IV drips useful for patients having reconstructive mouth surgery or extensive quality dental work done with anesthesia because the vitamin c in the IV bag can help the patient's immune system to heal the surgical site. IV's are especially safe in a dental office, as the patient is connected to monitors such as an EKG, blood pressure cuff, and an oximeter which monitors the oxygen in the patient's bloodstream during the whole procedure.

@@jp2917 yes it can be taken weekly or bi-weekly or even alternate days as I used to & still do take my HDIVC whenever I have my nurse around & if I’m not travelling.
      Vitamins ARE “food”.
Do you eat food for energy or eat food for food??🤔🤔
Once it’s in the system it’ll do what it has to do so your telling the vitamins to behave like energy & not as food isn’t going to happen.

Dont use ones with preservitives!! they can people very bad pain for weeks after very bad side effects. it happened to me, most places use preservitives, but you can find places they use none most places dont tell u that info, your body is not ment to have preservitives so your body cant reject them there in your bloodstream 100 percent. so you body inflames and puts your body in tons pain and cramps for weeks!! make sure were u go there are 100 present no preservitives and no benzl alcohl some places forget that it is also a preservitive!!

I'm looking to get a vitamin IV drip for my 18th birthday in a couple of months! I hate IVs, but I have a whole laundry list of health issues and possible vitamin deficiencies. The issue is that my insurance won't cover the tests I need to find out if I have a vitamin deficiency, even though I had been referred for lab work. I also have really bad stomach issues, and I have a hard time even drinking water. That means I can hardly eat anything most days and most of what I eat isn't regular solid food either. I've been in the ER a few times in the past two months and they've been struggling to place IVs because I'm severely dehydrated. My aunt is the co-owner of an IV clinic and she's been a nurse for 18 years, so that's why I'd like to visit her.

There are also other tests that’ll tell you what vitamins and minerals you’re deficient in. Doing IV and or vitamin pills is pointless if you’re just going to pee it out if your body doesn’t use it.

You can absolutely do it more often, and without harm. The fellow in this video -- czcams.com/video/Au-mp6RZjCQ/video.html -- received 25gm/day, which brought him back from near death. And I've taken 12-14gm/day of C orally for weeks at a time without a problem (ascorbic acid, slow-release, cheap). The comment here by Aegon Aram
is good, though. Liposomal C has supporting evidence, and was taken by the guy in my video after he woke from a coma. That's about US$1/mg, though, so you'll burn through $ fast doing that. Until you do IVs, I recommend taking C like I did, although perhaps in a variety of forms. I'd include some liposomal, and some sodium ascorbate. You can find 3lb. canisters of Now Foods brand sodium ascorbate for just ~US$40.

People get water soluble confused with short-term effect. This isn't the case. You body absorbs as much as it can but only has a limited time frame to do so. IV allows your body to bypass the gut and absorb nearly 100% (theoretically) of the nutrients than if you take it via mouth which is probably the most inefficient transport medium into your blood. But people do "megadose" or high dose therapy orally vitamins all the time with radical success because they know even if your B-Complex or Vitamin C has a very low bioavailability then taking higher amounts will compensate for the stomach or absorption issues. Also its not just the singular dose size orally that can force your body to absorb more, but doing water soluble Vitamins multiple times a day. People are inconvenienced by doing that though so they go for the higher priced drips, but from what I've read on the subject IV will always have some radical differences no matter the oral dose just because the nature.
It's all about saturating the body to get into the cells which are a PITA most of the time because they're designed to not let things into them easily. Vitamin C is one such case where it just gets picked off easily and why people even take oral doses of 5-20g daily. Before people doubt whether you notice orally with Vitamin C at those doses, yes you do and it's very much similar with the clarity. Feeling destressed and just refreshed in a way that's hard to describe. Like your body just got hit by the gentlest of gentle cool mists in the middle of summer kind of refreshing way while drinking a fresca lol. In the future people aren't going to do what I do for 2 decades and poo-poo vitamins especially C. They're going to realize we were just doing it all wrong this whole time guaranteeing we didn't take them seriously.
