What can I say about “Fat Bottomed Girls”? For one, it is one of the more polarizing songs in the Queen catalog, from my own experience. It’s almost always included in the set list, no matter where I play with a band. If we are overseas - anywhere overseas - it goes over like some lesser-known deep cut, even in Queen’s homeland of England. But the moment we sing that harmonic intro in the USA, everyone is on their feet and ready to party. I guess maybe we have the American Food & Drug Administration for that. Thanks, FDA! America, especially, loves “Fat Bottomed Girls,” and they are none too shy to show it. Always a good time. Thanks to Brian May for penning a good ol’ fashioned down and dirty barn-burner!

This needs to be said. Marc doesn't try to sound like Freddy. His natural singing voice automatically does. It has to come down to vocal genetics being similar
And even if genetics make the voice similar it takes work and talent to hit the notes, dynamics and tones.

マークがクイーン以外の曲を歌っていてもフレディが後ろにいるように感じるのでもうそれは彼の自然の持ち物な声だよね。マークが普通に話しているときもフレディのように聞こえることがある。
マークの音域の余裕や耳の良さ全てがマークの力だしそこにフレディと同じ声を持つことが最高に特別だろう。
これからはマークのオリジナルもたくさん聴きたい。
Search for Marc's " Impersonator" original album [title is meant to be ironic : )] It's amazing. I also love his orginal song "Believe" which is also on YT. Plus most of the tracks of his old band "downhere" almost all of which were written or co-written by Marc are still on YT and if you search for "the band downhere" you will find a lot of them.

If you search for his w*bs*te there is a tour dates page on it. [YT doesn't allow outside links] Also if you search YT for Marc Martel full show or full concert there are some good ones posted by fans . Some are very recent but if you look at some of the older ones where the setlists were different you get even more Queen songs. For example th are several including Show Must go on and Hammer to Fall in the Brisbane one that are no longer in the setlist. Have fun : )

@@ThatllShowEm Fantastic. I did notice it was in the last concert but its ' been missing a few times. I understand why Show Must Go on isn't a permanent fixture anymore given how hard it is on the voice and why it gives freshness to rotate in different songs but I do wish now that people go to see Marc even more than they go to see "Queen music" that he would add some of his own songs. We can dream. : )
